the college kids who started this must be rich,because on the news they said they won't reveal the identities and the judge DID NOT charge them with anything!!! then with the jesusita fire a few mexicans were working and ACCIDENTALLY started a fire and a judge put them in fucking prison!!

Actually, not all of Montecito is rich. There are many just regular sized houses and normal people. And beside the fact of affording a new home, what about everything that was burned? Many families had no time to grab anything! Everything was lost. I know people who's 15-year-old daughter died 2 years ago. They didn't just loose their house, they lost all their daughters belongings!

2 fires in 4 months. Sad!!! I was evacuated from the GAP fire in July for 4 days so my thoughts and prayers are with my fellow Santa Barbara friends. Helicopters are definitely helping this time. Full moon is helping too with air sight
