We're looking forward being Europeans but with our identity and culture, like France, Germany, Italy...Catalonia has historically been bounded by force to Spain. Obviously Spain has never and will never admit it, but in the nowadays pacific Europe democracy rules.We'd like to get support from Europe to demand Spain to allow independence referendums in Catalonia, since we believe in democracy.Such referendums are strictly banned in Spain.This is our dream:

Who exactly are the EU trying to promote europe to? they are not travel agents and those of us who resent our money being wasted by unelected bureaucrats (and those elected too) this infuriates. On your reasoning, there is also no 'British' way of life (despite the UK of GB & NI being a relatively young constituent nation). Such a shame you cannot see that this debate is a matter of scale - culturally, politically, economically. If you reject the European ideal, you should also reject the UK ideal.

I live in Germany and visited 7 EU countries... and I have seen only a bit of the EU.

Saudi Arabia isn't there. The Arabian peninsula is cut away. should be just on the other side of the Red Sea and the Suez canal. It's called Destination Europe not destination EU. Parts of Turkey and Russia are on the European continent. I guess they decided to include the whole of both nations.
