Walk through Frankfurt Airport

I hate frankfurt airport its so unorganized and u can easily get lost.

This has been my home airport all my life (born in Germany to dad in the US Army) and when my dad got out, we just stayed there with the military working as government civilians on base. I'm sure going to miss this place (and country) when my parents retire in a couple years... :( US airports just can't compare.

Rhein-Main Air Base which used to be across from Frankfurt Airport closed at the end of 2005. It was only recently demolished to make room for the new terminal 3 about to be built on the site. Gone are the days when a C-5 would land right behind a Lufthansa 747... :(

that is a huge airport. i was there in june 2008. We were told our flight was at gate A42, but there was a misunderstanding and our flight was at gate A4, that was a painful day. We had traveled from Chicago O'Hare and were flying to Venice, Italy from here.

is it easy to have a stop over in this airport? can you easily walk from one gate to another without heavy traffic?

Getting from most gates to the other is pretty simple allthough currently there is alot of contruction going on so there are some detours depending on where you want to go. Getting from different terminsals is simple, just follow the sign for "Skyline". It passes every 2 minutes.

some white airport staff are quite racist at this airport... i'm canadian, but just coz i was flying from romania, they assumed i was from there and treated me like shit when i was just trying to ask a simple question... that's my only beef there, otherwise everyone else was friendly and nice... lol, and i'm white too for fucks sake :P

umn i work at frankfurt airport, and most workers arent even white lol.... and how can u call people racists is you say "and i am white too ffs", i find that sentence a bit racist from ur side actually... anyways, it depends on how people ask questions, there passengers who are like "tell me where london heathrow is" and youre just like "united kingdom, see ya"

Well i took a couple of trips in the skyline back and forth because it was fun :) But besides that there are alot of places to eat and shop there or surf the net while your wating.

I love this airport ... but I never used the skyline shuttle. Awesome! Ah cool the ICE ... It let me remember the time when I was flying to Australia in 2004.
