Drinking is legal on the river. You go to jail if you are a jackass, or fight, or have prohibited items.. such as weed.

The main thing the cops care about is it keeping glass bottles off the river. That's it. Drinking is encouraged.

I went this past weekend. It was a blast. I didnt have any problems with cops. I was warned before I went on the river but I didnt see any. I wasnt drinking going down the river anyways. Not that dumb.

My Constitutional rights were violated on Spring River by 8 Federal Officers standing mid-stream in the river searching every single boat and cooler that is on the river with=out probable cause or search warrant

DO not tolerate this police abuse contact the Arkansas and Missouri State Attorney and complain

forgot to mention the only revenue they recieve is from arresting people on the river. because most of the town collects cans.

DO NOT GO TO THE SPRING RIVER UNLESS U WANT TO BE ARRESTED.

They have check points along the river, and undercover cops floating it to take you to jail for the smallest of thing.
