I'm using guage 8 strings on my Ex-260 and it's so hard to play in drop C

Thats because 8s are very very thin. Chances are you're going to snap the strings tuning back up to standard. Also the fact that guitars usually come factory with .9's is crazy aha

heres a tip. if you play songs like this, switch to a heavier gauge like .11s. it has more of a punch. I used to play with .8s myself and i find .12s giving a better tone for this kind of stuff.

I can't pinpoint exactly which point it is, but at some point in the main chunky riff, you're playing a C note.. it SHOULD be on a D. but overall this is a good cover dude.. on time, which is more than I can say for some.

It takes me about 10-20 minutes to down tune from E standard or drop D. It is possible but most of the time Its a bitch to reset your bridge to go to Drop C from E or drop D

sure, but you already know what I'm going to say... repetition. Small things to keep in mind: pickup selector switch position, distortion effect, and every guitar is a little bit different on where you have to pick the string. Don't worry, you'll be squealing your own face off in time.
