  • I hate expensive cards.avi

  • @Lestat13TheVampire Why, cuz u cant afford them? I hear this shit all them time online. Funniest thing is a turn 1 concede when i play an Underground Sea. Stop complaining, getur money up. and buy cards!!!!

  • @incrementalgrowth lol yea... i don't understand because it's not super difficult to read a card's text, yet it seems like some people choose not to read the cards they're not familiar with.

  • so, what happened exactly? it was kind of hard to see

  • @DM4717 i overdrew my hand using Survival Cache, discarded Terastodon, then brought him from graveyard to play with Marshal's Anthem.

  • @st0mpf3st HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That's great!!! i've been testing my UB control deck against top 8 decks, and on the 3rd match turn 16: the had 19 lands out, and i had so many counters that round i denied all creatures, then won with Jace's -12 ability. i was playing against myself using an online deck editor/tester, but i was playing to full ability. as soon as i have all the cards, i'm going to standard tournaments

  • My god that control player was HORRIBLE.

  • @DahCakins you also have to figure, this match was before M11 so he didn't have good counters like mana leak to protect jace with. he probably should have been running some duresses tho to prevent something like this from happening. if i had to guess, i would say he was probably running some sort of arrangement of blightnings, terminates, bituminous blasts, and cruel ultimatums.

  • @st0mpf3st The problem I have with that, is there was no way to interact. I would imagine that they were playing negate, and probably 1-2 double negative. It just seems like his plan was to beat aggro.

  • very nice:)

  • I like the deck, but the reliance on survival cache for drawing seems risky. How does it fair against the faster, more proactive decks?

  • @grayseeroly

this is not typically how the deck plays. the main combos in the deck involve kor skyfisher and the other creatures in the deck (acidic slime, wall of omens/elvish visionary for drawing, and lone missionary for life gain amongst a few others). the skyfisher returning from the grave allows me to bounce the anthem back to my hand and repeat the process as many times as i am allowed until it is naturalized or i am forced to discard it (or my grave gets exiled).

  • LMFAO, wa wah.
