  • He was about 2 when he had the surgeries. He's 6 now, and doing fine. We're together 24/7 - and have been since the beginning. About 3 years ago, I had Kirk Sand build me a nylon string mahogany guitar; it's gorgeous! But I'll tell you, if Kodiac needed another surgery, I'd part with it in a heartbeat. If you love your dog, it's a no-brainer. Guitars make sound; people make the music = )

  • I had no clue you were selling this piece, but when you mentioned it I thought you must have been insane, until shortly after saying so you added that it was for your dog. I could only bring myself to sell a guitar of this caliberr only for my beloved dogs.

  • Spanish Fly is so much better of a name.

  • You play very well. I love your fingerpicking. I guess I'm grandpa too. I been playing for 47 years and I'm 62.

  • Fantastic Playing!

  • @joeylodes Thanks much! You're very kind.... and you didn't call me 'grandpa'

  • Thanks for that =) Dog is 100%... and I eventually replaced it with a Kirk Sand.

  • It's really a shame that you had to sell that, but good for you for helping your dog. Hope he's fine now, and I hope you were able to replace this. You are a great player!

  • LOVE your playing! Bravo!

  • Great playing grandpa!!!

  • @speeluh grand pa FTW!

  • The problem is: Each knocking, scratching, and any background noise produce disturbances.

  • @MegaSmud Do you just run around trolling Parker videos? You must REALLY be sad that you can't afford one.

  • @cbrandom I don´t want a Parker, not even for free. Trolling? Is it forbidden, to write my own opinion? Critical comments are also allowed.

  • hope the dog is fine.

  • great playing! It's Fishman Piezo saddles in the bridge, no 'pickups' as such. gorgeous guitar

  • For anyone that's wondering: It uses nylon strings (obviously), it is not a hollowbody, it is solid. It uses a Fishman piezo pickup system, located in the bridge, to achieve it's acoustic sound. Basically it sounds similar to a classical guitar, but it is technically a solid-body electric.

  • WTF no pickups

  • i think its just in the bridge most parkers come with piezos

  • dude, its an acoustic guitar, of course theres no pickups.

  • i didnt know it was an acoustic guitar

  • then why are there nobs on it

  • its probably an electric acoustic then.

in which case the pick up is built in to the body inside.

  • @BYTHEFRAME Piezo pickup, so yeah.

  • Bravo!

  • Very nice playing. I hope you picked up a new one by now.

  • What did this end up selling for?

    Thanks

  • Hey is that the guy's SHOWER CURTAIN in the background? Is he about to take a shower? Cause if he is, I'm leaving! (ha ha, lol) great guitar, I've never seen a nylon string parker before, thats cool!

  • so did the pup get his knee done?

    how's he making out?

  • Kodiac had his left knee done in 12/07 and his right knee done in 5/08. Recovery for these surgeries is slow, but these days, he's doing great! He runs at top speed and jumps into the air to catch his frisbee. Thanks!

  • Your some kind hearted man :)

  • That's...it's a Parker hehe.

  • Awesome tone!

  • where's PU?

  • it has a piezeo internal acoustic pickup
