So what's the point of having a small federal government that gives freedom, when the state governments don't?

Well I know, but I don't think government at all, federal,state or local should be involved in marriage at all. Straight, gay, whatever. It's marriage isn't the governments job. But I've always questioned giving the states all this power. I mean, I want limited government. But what's the point of having a limited federal government. When the states could be incredibly fascist and have all sorts of power, and we'd not be free.

We're free people and no one can give or take that away. And it's good to have a weak federal government. A very weak one. But I don't think I can be in total agreement with how libertarians want state power. Whats the point of a good Federal government if the state governments are fascist? no freedom there.

Why is he a disgrace. I don't think he's perfect and he's definitely not as good as Ron Paul, but he's not the neo-con he used to be.
