thank you for your vid. i just broke up with my bf and i'm a little down right now..but i heard you and i do feel so much better now. thanks again. you are an amazing soul. God Bless!
You're a doll, you will be ok. No, not OK, you will be amazing. I heard a country song yesterday about a guy who wanted to write a letter to himself when he was 17 so he could tell himself that things would work out--Just searched it, Brad Paisley, "Letter to me". You'll appreciate it more.
This sounds a lot like things my Mother would talk to me about when I was child. When I asked her really "big" questions about purpose or meaning, she would reply with a speech similar to this.
The emotional side of me still finds this uplifting. The intellectual side thinks: Ignorance is Bliss.
Your mother sounds wise. As a mother myself, I don't dodge the big questions. The real growth happens when ignorance turns to knowing something you may not have wanted to know and find a way to be optimistic and still know the blackness of souls you once thought were on the up and up, very disappointing. In spite of it, we STILL can find something for which to be grateful. Thank you for your feedback.
I agree, the evidence of a creator is overwhelming. And it's wonderful to be alive, and to be a survivor of that personal chaos that you mentioned. What a terrific video, Dianne, have an excellent week! :)
I love looking at stars I don't do it enough. I love sunsets and sunrises too they give me a sense of hope, it reminds me life will go on after a tragedy and it will all be ok.
I am an Atheist but I do believe in everything happens for a reason to a point. And also I have had moments where my gut tells me to act on a certain thing at that moment or to make a change in my life.I really like you Dianne I don't want our differences to have any conflict. It's the great freedom of personal opinion.
Bigggg kisss. Loved this one. My exact sentiment toward things in life! One of the most beautiful things I saw was in Charlevoix park in Quebec when camping. With no light pollution and clear skies, the star gallery was just breath taking with an occasional shooting star! Even the best of planetariums could not compare. Extremely relaxing. ... On the notion of relativity of things, I just tweeted the NASAs Hubble gallery page earlier this afternoon!
My husband and I drove out to San Juan Capistrano wilderness area a few nights ago to set up the telescope....but it was too overcast....I was so sad. Have you ever been there to camp or star gaze?
Cool, never knew there was a wilderness area there. I know the streets right where the mission is. My sister's mother in law has a gift shop right across the street and my accountant friend is right there too! I want to do that!
If you take the Ortega Hiway 74 exit off of the 5 freeway and go east about 6 miles, it is called Caspers wilderness park and it will be on your left hand side. You can camp there and bring your telescope and pray for clear skys! I'll be sure to visit your sister's mother in law's place next time i'm in the area!
It concerns me that some people won't even consider that there is a supreme being. And that man and women where not created for any particular reason. And if your not happy with the sex you are, have an operation and change sexes.
If you had attended that lecture with me, you would see it makes NO sense to NOT have a Supreme creator. The lecturer had three jars full of stratus of different beans and corn, dry. He asked for two volunteers to come and shake them up and asked how long it would take for them to return to the way they were when they started. NEVER, unless they took them out and separated them all by hand and did it again....cool, huh!
Another completly thought provoking vlog! Loved it! I share many of the same beliefs and values with you and it's great to hear how you put it, really makes me think more. I always look forward to my Thursday fix :)
Across the heavens, impressed upon my soul comes the cold dark power creation lends to her bidding, the absolute love given unto her results, the serene peace within the spark of her thought, the simple glorified art of her being, the striking giddy humor of her will, the gentle tenderness of her graduated touch, the unforgiving nature of her reality, and the unlimited giving of her openness, across this infinity shall I forever be drawn to he'r, truth.
Thanks again Dianne. Very thought provoking... I've always thought the "order" WAS nature itself... so nature does seem to bring peace.
I just watched the movie "Crazy Sexy Cancer" about Kris Carr, an actress diagnosed with a rare incurable cancer, who learned to accept her diagnosis and even to incorporate it as part of a positive creative outlook on life. An inspirational example of finding meaning amid the chaos.

News flash:
House roof debris 'fell from space'
The 4lb object was investigated by the RAF Flight Safety Branch after it landed in the loft of Peter and Mair Welton's home in Forester Way, Hull, in July this year.
Now identified as space debris and the only incident of its kind investigated by the RAF in the last five years.
So watch out whilst looking up - you never know what's coming down Haha
I was at the beach one time with my wife. We had gotten this cheap motel room right across the street from the ocean. There was a sidewalk over there, and some trees, but by the moonlight you could see the sea lapping up at the rocks beneath the trees. People were walking down the sidewalk, paying no mind to the ocean just beneath them. I was sitting on the balcony considering this, and thought, how amazing. They don't even know the sea doesn't touch them because God told it not to.

I really like you too. I never anticipate anything between us but a lovely experience. Viva la difference!

Yay :) I get nervous when I talk to religious people I don't know how they will take me. It has ruined potential friendships and that is just sad.
