I, Robot...we are so heading that way. computers can now recognize faces, voices, and with our current processing computer abilities and data storage, we will have a thinking robot in no time if we really wanted to.

@joelito101 Dream on... Our current processing abilities and data storage are nowhere near thinking robots. And the robots that actually end up thinking may not even use processors as we know them today.

At the current rate we are likely to see autonomous robots with biological brains before fully electronic ones (which are ending up designed as their biological counterparts - in no way similar to digital computers available now).
