@kalevraa how do you mean curious? the farriers shared our forge and because they... are a bit dim..... they hadn't been shown how to use the powerhammer correctly so they only used one side of the anvils therefore knackered them so whenever we used the powerhammer everything distorted to one side which meant we had to do more work to keep everything straight =/

@piercedfreak000 ok, i get you. it makes sense, as farriers tend to work in the field, hauling their stuff in a trailer and using hand-hammers only. i sympathize... i hate having my dies messed up, too.  usually it's someone using a cutter without a saddle, or a genius forging tool steel after it's cold. not that i myself don't mess up... do you have many students? what sort of work do you focus on?

@kalevraa well unfortunately Myerscough college have stopped the Blacksmithing course, they stopped it because "they didn't get enough interest for the course to run" which translates as "we get more money from training farriers and you are taking up space that we need". The blacksmithing tutor only found out they cancelled the course from a prospective student =/

myerscough college near preston. Unfortunatly the college doesnt think that this is course is worth running, so as far as my knowlege goes, the course has been discontinued. FUCK YOU MYERSCOUGH, YOU STOLE 2 YEARS OF MY LIFE AND I WANT THEM BACK!!!
