  • Is this still going on?

  • Yes, the roundups continue.

  • thepetitionsite(dot)com/1/stop-2011-roundup/

Sign this free petition to hold off the 2011 roundup and stop the catching of wild horses, the BLM sends most to slaughter houses. the BLM gets paid to remove wild horses and let people graze there cattle and sheep

  • they can't kill them, because they are a protected breed.

  • I wish that were true, but if the US government gives the okay, they can be killed.

  • that is messed up! well i know for a fact that the Mustang will never be wiped out, because they can't kill the Mustangs on the Navajo Nation, without it being ok with the Navajo government, but the Navajo government wouldn't say its ok to kill them. the Navajo Nation has thousands of wild and tamed Mustangs.

  • That the mustang may never be wiped out in the Navajo Nation is of little comfort to the animals that are killed by the government outside its territory.

  • This is so sad. ;(

  • pitiful

  • just horrible there treating them like the american idians
