This isn't street fighter or etc. Like you and almost everyone else, the fatalities proved to be WAY too much for me, especially seeing it being inflicted on women, which is disturbing and a little depressing, but, all of them are "Kombatants," so there's absolutely no discrimination of the sexes. But i guess the point is to not take this too seriously, and to just have fun, even if it's sick as all hell. But i feel ya 150%

I think they were all playable until the stepped away from 2D into the 3D realm which off the top of my head I think was Mortal Kombat 4 which sucked so bad I barely remember what the characters looked like because they definitely weren't Mortal Kombat Characters in my opinion...

although cassic.sounds like they spent more time making the mortalities than making the actual gameplay, characters good, like not making every charactr have the same moves. but MK was always about gimmicks. the 1st few were gimmicks because of GFX style and fatalities that no-one knew or ever used (because in half a second you had to input left/right/left/up/down/Punch 1/kick2/punch2 etc for some silly animation) rather than gameplay and characters like the far superior street fighter series

Well, for two reasons

1: There were a shitload of characters (60+) so, that would not have only taken a lot of time, but there wouldn't be enough space to fit all that in there

2: Wanted to give fans the ability to come up with their own Fatalities as they have wanted so much

@brunobb1 Because I'm a huge Super Street fighter 4 fan and its the biggest thing going on now (competitively wise) meaning big tournaments and great community. 2.5d what made sf4 big when it came out because it was kept original. Mortal kombat went a whole new direction and many people didn't find it a great game (competitively) so it dies after you beat the game story mode (alone) and fighting games playing alone is boring unless your training. so I guessed it because it was the only way.
