they made this on the capcom classics on the PSP as well! what a great game! this could easily have been made for the NES. one of the few under-appreciated classics from the 80s arcades. i made a video of it running on the PSP on my channel. it is basically the same game except the US version. the version shown here above is the japanese version

I used to play this game in the arcade but hadn't seen it in about 14 years. I forgot the name of it too for almost that long as well. I finally saw it again on capcom classics remixed for the psp. This game was fun and one of the first games that let you run around outside your car. I also remember this gane was frustrating but fun none the less.

Thank you very much for uploading this. I used to play this at the local milk bar when we first arrived in Australia back in early 1987. We were staying with a friend in Penrith at the time. Great game; I will always associate it with delicious Salt 'N' Vinegar Ruffles which I discovered at the same time. Bring back Ruffles!

@chrizdebo I don't know about the net or it's availible on pc. But you can get this game under the name speed rumbler on the capcom classics collection vol.2 for ps2 and xbox. You can also get it in capcom classics collection remixed if you have a psp.

Por fin llegué a la final ( son 6 etapas) y lo describo: Al final se abre un puente, avanza el auto y luego se cierra , disparas seguido y una vez destruido la maquina infernal, suena una musica chillona, se abren las puertas de los muros y sale mucha gente, como si estuvieran presos y sale mensaje de felicitación y una vez hecho esto, el juego se inicia de nuevo y mas rapido, fue genial, había mucha gente alrededor y me felicitaron por ver como terminaba el juego, muchisimas gracias!

Hace poco lo volvía jugar y no hay caso, definitivamente la maquina gigantesca, te lanza muchas bombas de racimo y te dispara sin cesar, por favor alguien que si haya llegado a la final como yo, pero que haya podido vencer a la maldita maquina infernal! gracias

Ja ja ja, que divertida la musica, excelente video juego, desde siempre lo jugué, peronunca pude derrotar a la maquina gigantesca, incluso hace unos minutos llegué nuevamente a la final, pero...esamaldita maquina, en fin, gracias por el nostalgico recuerdo

i acually got a cabneit of this game from a garage sale. and i am going to swap out the old 90's monitor with a better one this game is insanely hard... but it is GREAT, especially in a bachelor pad like mine.

i have this in both Capcom Classics Collection 2 (for ps2) and CCC Remixed (PSP), and it's good. it's like a primitive version of the top down Grand Theft Auto games (without the carjackings and the cop killings)

Este es uno de mis videojuegos favoritos, a finales de los `80, pasaba facil los 6 niveles del juego, pero al final siempre me mataba la maquina gigantesca mezcla de tanque con oruga, y dos delincuentes que no paraban de disparar, bajen el final y asi ver como termina el juego, gracias por el recuerdo!

Es un supervideo juego clásico, siempre que jugaba llegaba a la final pero nunca pude derrotar a la máquina infernal a la que el detective tenía que enfrentar, era gigantesca y super dificil, te disparaba por todos lados y tenía dos malandras encima que no dejaban de disparar, pero super, ojalá alguien logre bajar el final completo y como termina el juego, saludos AKIMM
