Love4SK, I don't know which video you watched but you sure missed the point. I know Frank personally and he strives to be the best at everything he likes to dabble in. His kids are amazing and his greatest blessing is his love for kids. The last thing he'd ever wish is for any kid not just his own but any kid to drop out of anything. I consider him a kind soul that wants only good for all.

One of the most underrated guitarist. He is one of my idols. I love his style and even posted a song I recorded inspired by him called Orca's Journey . It is in now way even close to his playing, but it was the vibe I felt when I recorded it. It's I just love the sort of psychedelic feel of his music. Hell I'm not even good enough to change franks guitar strings, but it's the spirit that counts.

When i realized it was really Frank Marinio,i didn't want to make a fuss so i shook his hand and said it's nice to meet you.Frank had to leave right away so we didn't have a chance to talk. Frank's brother Vince and i almost became friends, when he was doing sound for a band one night, and i was a DJ in the Moustache bar (now closed down) but i didn't want him to think i wanted to be his friend just because Frank was his brother. Frank and VInce were really nice guys, easy going and grounded.

When i was in living Germany in 1992, i was in a record store asking the owner for assistance.A German guy heard me speaking English and he asked me where i was from.When i said, Montreal, he asked me if i had ever met Frank Marino.When i said that i once was in a Montreal bar when Frank walked in to ask a guy in my party a question about getting together later, and that i was introduced to Frank and even shock his hand,the guy was estactic. Frank's his fav axe-man.Frank had his hair short then.

For those who don't know CHOM pronounced "Shoam" is a Montreal radio station and Tootall is a DJ on that station. Here in Columbus Ohio on WLVQ the ONLY Frank song they play is Strange Dreams and quite rarely!! At least it's not a cover tune!
