Hulk 03 was too slow got really boring. You know it's possible to have character development without it being slow and boring. 03 hulk was terrible not saying that 08 was better tho. Hulk is a cool character which 03 showed it but it was just too slow.

As a comic book fan I love Ang Lee's Hulk. ILM told him he had too much action scenes so he had to cut out a lot and fill it with drama. I hated it, the Ed Norton one has so many cool Easter eggs related to THE AVENGERS , the Leader , maybe even DOC SAMPSON.. , THE ABOMINATION tied in with the consultant one shot , ANG LEE ruined it some of it did look awesome but it's ultimately rubbish...., thank god Feige and those guys got it going with Iron Man 2 and the tie ins all working together

Hulk 2003 is better by far, the 2008 version was just lots of cheesy action scenes (don't get me started on that joke of a final battle), at least the 2003 version had decent drama and acting

The one part I did actually enjoy in 2003 Hulk was when he was unconscious from the plane going so high. He had that dream that he was shaving and Hulk smashed through the mirror. It was a good display of how Hulk and Banner are the different people struggling for the same body. That's about it, though.

From What I have seen of the Avengers Hulk, it seems that it's a cross between 2003 Hulk and 2008 Hulk, leaning more towards the 2003 Hulk, which in my opinion is a good thing.
2003's Hulk had better design proportions, even if the way he was animated made it feel like he was made of plasticine... and the green was too bright. 2008's Hulk had a waist, long hair, way too ripped and cut, was too much of a pretty boy. Hopefully they've learned from past mistakes and the Hulk in the Avengers will improve on these two.

08 may have a closer connection to the comics but 03 Hulk was much more intense and fun to watch. It was so good. The anger, the power, you could really feel what banner was dealing with. Him wrestling helicopters, smashing tanks, beating the ground to death, dealing with his father that kind of made him to an object. It really reached a sort of pinnacle in things like hatred and agony. The 2003 Hulk is a more realistic Hulk as if it would really happen nowadays. all in all 03 Hulk was badass
I have to go with 08 hulk. Ang Lee's hulk story line was so far away from the comic story lines or even the cartoons. And I see alot of people going on about how skinny the 08 hulk was but thats because they used football linemen as the base instead of bodybuilders.
The Hulk 03 runs faster and jumps much higher than the Hulk 08. Besides, the Hulk 03 has more conscience of his existence than the Hulk 08, Bruce Banner 03 has more control of his body than Hulk 08. Then 2008 came with another Hulk movie. More meaner and pissed off. Liked 08 one. Hulk 03 design is more on the perfect bodybuild while 08 focused more on muscles and less fat.

Discussing the design of Ang Lee's Hulk vs. '08 Hulk is like discussing whether chocolate is better than vanilla. Who cares? Ang Lee's Hulk is a better movie that tells an interesting story about the relationships of family and how they affect the life of the individual... and some tanks get thrown around, which is fun to watch.
I've always said and always well say, 2003 is best in everything, there are certain aspects that are better graphics in 08 but not way too ... and the enormous change they did in the 08 with the cast and all, was the worst

If Hollywood would have given ME the job to do the script I would have done better then both. Neither of the films stayed true to the comic. The first one screwed with the origin story while the second film made Hulk less pwerful and less able to travel like he did both in the comic and in the first film. One of people's gripe about the first film was that Hulk could jump for miles but in the comic he could also. I would get it right and do a real Hulk film. Just sayin!! hahaha 03 Hulk was best.

I like the 03 Hulk better. It's not all about CG, it's also how well "Bruce" plays the Hulk. Maybe this is just me, but the 03 Hulk seems to actually turn into the Hulk when he's just angry, which is 1 reason why I prefer 03, while the 08 turns into the Hulk more when he is excited more so than plain angry (e.g chase, helicopter fall, etc). Not to mention, Bruce of 03 fit the comic character look very well, compared to 08. 08 Hulk does look more angry, but 03 showed more power in the movie

The one part I did actually enjoy in 2003 Hulk was when he was unconscious from the plane going so high. He had that dream that he was shaving and Hulk smashed through the mirror. It was a good display of how Hulk and Banner are the different people struggling for the same body. That's about it, though.

From What I have seen of the Avengers Hulk, it seems that it's a cross between 2003 Hulk and 2008 Hulk, leaning more towards the 2003 Hulk, which in my opinion is a good thing.

2003's Hulk had better design proportions, even if the way he was animated made it feel like he was made of plasticine... and the green was too bright. 2008's Hulk had a waist, long hair, way too ripped and cut, was too much of a pretty boy. Hopefully they've learned from past mistakes and the Hulk in the Avengers will improve on these two.

08 may have a closer connection to the comics but 03 Hulk was much more intense and fun to watch. It was so good. The anger, the power, you could really feel what banner was dealing with. Him wrestling helicopters, smashing tanks, beating the ground to death, dealing with his father that kind of made him to an object. It really reached a sort of pinnacle in things like hatred and agony. The 2003 Hulk is a more realistic Hulk as if it would really happen nowadays. all in all 03 Hulk was badass

I have to go with 08 hulk. Ang Lee's hulk story line was so far away from the comic story lines or even the cartoons. And I see alot of people going on about how skinny the 08 hulk was but thats because they used football linemen as the base instead of bodybuilders.

The Hulk 03 runs faster and jumps much higher than the Hulk 08. Besides, the Hulk 03 has more conscience of his existence than the Hulk 08, Bruce Banner 03 has more control of his body than Hulk 08. I was 13 in 2003 so was really not pleased with the drama Hulk that year. NEEDS MOAR ACTION!!!
Then 2008 came with another Hulk movie. More meaner and pissed off. Liked 08 one. Hulk 03 design is more on the perfect bodybuild while 08 focused more on muscles and less fat.
Watched 2003 Hulk again yesterday and somehow can finally understand the weight of the story the movie was trying to show. Loved the action in 08 better though. Jusy my 2 cents. Ferrigno still smashes ALL! lol

Ang Lee's Hulk is a better movie that tells an interesting story about the relationships of family and how they affect the life of the individual... and some tanks get thrown around, which is fun to watch.

If Hollywood would have given ME the job to do the script I would have done better then both. Neither of the films stayed true to the comic. The first one screwed with the origin story while the second film made Hulk less pwerful and less able to travel like he did both in the comic and in the first film. One of people's gripe about the first film was that Hulk could jump for miles but in the comic he could also. I would get it right and do a real Hulk film. Just sayin!! hahaha 03 Hulk was best.

I like the 03 Hulk better. It's not all about CG, it's also how well "Bruce" plays the Hulk. Maybe this is just me, but the 03 Hulk seems to actually turn into the Hulk when he's just angry, which is 1 reason why I prefer 03, while the 08 turns into the Hulk more when he is excited more so than plain angry (e.g chase, helicopter fall, etc). Not to mention, Bruce of 03 fit the comic character look very well, compared to 08. 08 Hulk does look more angry, but 03 showed more power in the movie
