@fuckingfuckdude Mate, I'm sad coz you never been felt the music truly... this guy who you see in 0:31 feel the music! watch this guy at 1:56 and you see what i'm talking about
You may call me stupid, but isn't it quite possible that it is the complete opposite of sleeping?! Being totally focused on hearing the music by closing his eyes...
+100 views, because i've downloaded it to my laptop and have watched it over & over for about a hundred times. i guess i'm not the only one who did this, so it'd be fare if you add, at least a million views :D
This is not a concert, it is a performance, if you went to see an orchestra, you wouldn't yell and scream, you would if you went to see Skrillex or Foo Fighters or something like that. The audience is quiet so they can hear everything , because he isn't ampli
This man is god of this instrument , i can't stop watching his videos , i watch this probably for 1000 times ..... i have 19 years and i play guitar , Aleksei Arkhipovsky is my idol ....what he can do with only 3 strings some musicians can't do on 6, 12 ..100 strings . Keep on music Aleksei Arkhipovsky we love you !!!!
Not to detract from his obvious techniqual skill but he is using the same technique used by Tony Emanual and others on the guitar. It is superficially spectular but not especially diffucult and gets boring after a while.
He is capable of much more moving music, he has much more to offer. Atm we are reponding emotionally to his virtuousity and not so much the sounds he is making, which can be much more powerful.
To every non-musician looking at this video would just troll at all the "funny" faces he was making. But the rest of us that have luckily incorporated music into our lives and are musicians can just look a this face and smile, just thinking about how much he's enjoying the music his making. Bravo tavaresh!
A blond, short hair lady wearing glasses... Hymmm looks very smart and sexy too :)
People, stop complaining about the audience's behaviour! If they did act another way - they would've ruined the whole music. A huge respect to the audience.
@gruffgruff92 Well, actually, in Russian academic tradition of conduct the audience is not supposed to cheer or clap until the piece is over. It's considered inappropriate to applaud even between parts of a sonata. The fact that people are listening quietly should be interpreted as a sign of respect, not as an inability to recognize a genius.
@ThoutfulOtter In country aswell, but today to many people dont have any manners, and claps shout and cheer and just generaly dont allow you to enjoy the music, you can just hear the noise they make.
@ThoutfulOtter Well, that is (or should be) the basic conduct one should have when listening to chamber music, but you are spot on about respecting and recognizing the artist's genius, which in this case has been proven.

Why do people here in the U.S. get so noisy during concerts? What if people acted like that in movie theatres? If I pay money to go to a show I want to hear the performers not some idiots clapping off beat or singing along out of tune.
I know on the balalaika you do vibrato by moving your hand near the sound hole, but how is he doing that wah effect at 0:52? Is he using a wah pedal, or is it really some godly acoustic wah technique??
