  • Алексей Архиповский - величайший балалаечник во Вселенной! Я хотел бы играть в нее, как, что ...

  • @fuckingfuckdude You know ;) It's just my opinion

  • @fuckingfuckdude

You may call me stupid, but isn't it quite possible that it is the complete opposite of sleeping?! Being totally focused on hearing the music by closing his eyes...

  • @canadienofdeath09 I was kidding. :)

I usually go a step further myself and turn the lights out.

    What an incredible talent...!

  • That's incredible, epic skills... Astonishing!

One small but - sound is out of sync a little.

  • while i was watching, i felt happier

  • Isn't amplified*

  • This is not a concert, it is a performance, if you went to see an orchestra, you wouldn't yell and scream, you would if you went to see Skrillex or Foo Fighters or something like that. The audience is quiet so they can hear everything , because he isn't ampli

  • plz don't give him a guitar ok. Hahahaahahahahhaa

  • Andy Sandburg?

  • @johnnyisanonymous Was so gonna say that.

  • What piece of song is it?

  • @SasakiKimura

  • this guy would give good handjobs

  • MOSH PIT!

  • ...............................................

  • i had a balalaika once but when it went to repair it never came back

  • To every non-musician looking at this video would just troll at all the "funny" faces he was making. But the rest of us that have luckily incorporated music into our lives and are musicians can just look a this face and smile, just thinking about how much he's enjoying the music his making. Bravo tavaresh!

  • @M0JIB brofist

  • amazing!

  • Look at his right hand..thats the result of ultimate masterbation training gentlemen

  • @Anarhistful you know better.

  • Banjo

  • RUSSIA ROCKS!!! (US to)

  • A blond, short hair lady wearing glasses... Hymmm looks very smart and sexy too :)

People, stop complaining about the audience's behaviour! If they did act another way - they would've ruined the whole music. A huge respect to the audience.

  • @krzysiulek78 what the fuck are you on

  • @slnd666 hes got a point u just dont understand........(shun)

  • @gruffgruff92 Well, actually, in Russian academic tradition of conduct the audience is not supposed to cheer or clap until the piece is over. It's considered inappropriate to applaud even between parts of a sonata. The fact that people are listening quietly should be interpreted as a sign of respect, not as an inability to recognize a genius.

  • @ThoutfulOtter I hate when people clap before the performer is done.

  • @nonchalantgamer I love it when people clap before the performer is done.

  • @ThoutfulOtter In country aswell, but today to many people dont have any manners, and claps shout and cheer and just generaly dont allow you to enjoy the music, you can just hear the noise they make.

  • @ThoutfulOtter Well, that is (or should be) the basic conduct one should have when listening to chamber music, but you are spot on about respecting and recognizing the artist's genius, which in this case has been proven.

  • @ThoutfulOtter except for rock concerts and sort, same here (Portugal).

  • BRavo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

si alguien no lograse apreciar esta musica e spor q padece de sus facultades mentales :D

  • they could just at least bob their heads and smile :(

  • asta e chiar tare ce sa mai no com

  • more pleace ! i want moooooourh !

  • that is the worst fucking audience ever, if i were there i would be screaming, clapping my hands like an idiot cause this is art in the making (y)

  • @gruffgruff92 Because thats summary of all russian marketing.

  • 0:51 It's funky time. This guy is great, the instrument is so alive in his hands...

  • ROFL 1:27 hawaiian style ^^ ... best bit at 0:34 and at 2:50 this is so awsome

  • @silliuce Well if You knew Russian culture You wouldn't say that 1:27 is Hawaiian style, because it's pure Russian ;)

  • @ozzmanas Yeah im an ignorant :)

  • @silliuce Doesn't matter just wanted to inform You ;) The main thing is that we like it, other things are just small details :)

  • DO NOT GIVE THIS GUY.... MORE STRINGS!!!

  • @3SkatingLibras GIF HIM MORE!!! HOW MORE HOW BETTER XD

  • cant stop listening to this

  • look closely during his performance, many of the audience members are having multiple orgasms.

  • If you actually look at the crowd some people are really enjoying it. Like eyes closed, smiling. Good stuff.

  • This dude shreds that lil thing! I may be a clown and not really a person who would steryotipically listen to music of this calabur but this guy is fucking amazing. MMFWCL! Whoop Whoop!

  • Why do people here in the U.S. get so noisy during concerts? What if people acted like that in movie theatres? If I pay money to go to a show I want to hear the performers not some idiots clapping off beat or singing along out of tune.

  • Bilbo can really rock it.

  • класс

  • SHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAD

  • At 1:35 some dude's leaving

  • This Man iz Suppa HUMAN!! XD

  • I love how the audience is amazed. =D

  • OoO THAT WAS PURE AWESOMENESSSSS

  • If Tommy Emmanuel played balalaika . . . .

    Archipovsky is amazing.

  • @Pichounator

    You might find this interesting:

    youtube.com/watch?v=o9FEMUuqijU

  • @dangerlaef Very interesting - thanks.

  • If Tommy Emmanuel played balalaika . . . .

  • The audience's reaction isn't so farfetched- he did this in the middle of a Model UN Conference.

  • The most of the audience may not seem impressed but the guy between 1:56 and 2:05 looks like he's in a trance...

  • @gdrugg2006 Definitely a wah wah pedal.

  • I know on the balalaika you do vibrato by moving your hand near the sound hole, but how is he doing that wah effect at 0:52? Is he using a wah pedal, or is it really some godly acoustic wah technique??

  • @gdrugg2006

The balalaika almost never uses any form of electronic enhancement.

Chances are, he is just using a godly acoustic wah technique.

  • @KittyRokher

yeah you're probably right, it's possible on an acoustic guitar so why wouldn't it be posible on a balalaika

  • What you guys have to realize is that russians are impressed but the guy is russian so hes no big deal. Bring an american star which they cant see regularly and the guys a star. Also, russian people are just seemingly tired and groggy, but 90 years of communism would do that to you.

  • Me: "Holy shit! This is fucking awesome!

All of Russia(apparently): "I am not the least bit impressed."

  • the audience is about to moshpit

  • mediterranean sundance!

  • I can't stop listening to this!!!

  • What ever it is, I REALLY like it!

  • Mistrz nad mistrze - wirtuoz najwyższej klasy .

  • is he playing with a pick or not o.o?

  • @michikuTV only three strings doubt he needs one...

  • min 1:56 aww yeah man xD

  • Only one in the audience with feelings 2:03 ^^

  • tough crowd

  • holy......o_O

  • The first arpeggio part reminds me of trance-ish music lol. Awesome playing though, makes me want a balalaika too :P

  • I dont know how russians behave in show but I know this if I was there I WOULD FREAK THE HELL OUT and the audience must be enjoying no human being that dont enjoy this are just animals

  • @porcus123 well audience etiquette is different every where you go, here in America it's not uncommon for people to start dancing cheering whistling etc, but my guess is the etiquette over there is to just be silent until the very end

  • 3:01 Guy totally jizzed in his pants. When i saw his face, i did too.

  • That's amazing.

  • So he's up there performing a masterpiece and the audience is just like "Meh, seen better."
