@julianz209 Yes you can play N64 games. I believe that South Park runs rather well and Zelda has a few glitches. N64 emulation is improving constantly on the xbox, that's why I try and stick with the most updated versions of the N64 emu.

You have to pick the right rom to run on a good emulator then you simply put your emu folder in the e drive under emulators then put your roms inside the rom folder

Xbox was capable of 1080i natively. Check out a video on Dragon's Lair for the original xbox.

sega saturn for xbox, just to show its possible version, games work, i tried dracula x, slow, mortal kombat trilogy, runs slow also, someone told me they tried lots of games the all play but run slow, they run in bin, but like i said they released it just to show thats its possible a beta version is being worked on so every one keep your machines ready for saturn on xbox, try it out download it on THEISOZONE im really excited just running the games on my xbox

@pistolpete198069 If you have an HDTV I would def. get the component cables (not composite). The composite will work but will not allow you to use any resolution above 480i

Is there a significant difference between 480i and 480p in Xbox games? I mean on LCD type of screen you are unlikely to get the flicker you get on a CRT when using interlaced video mode. And it is still 480 scanlines anyway so the "480" picture is still pixelated on HD TV screen (stretched out) no matter if that's P or I. And another problem: not many Xbox games actually render at widescreen, most of them are 4:3 meaning they are too wide with circles being rather eggs.

@sk8er251cc what for a skin are you useing in your emulators? i think i know the problem of the artwork issue ... yesterday i made a screentshot in starwing and now is the screenshot a preview for starwing :D maybe its because i dont have the right skin which loads the pictures then?

your plasma TV and a Panasonic Viera? how games look on it in 480p? I always wanted to know because they say come on 480p plasmas look much better than the lcds, lcds games in 480p has many jaggies and blurry, they say the games in 480p and ps2 xbox1 in plasmas look good. please reply :)

@TheFred128 This is a panasonic Vierra (1080p plasma). I believe that plasmas look better than LCDs/LEDs in many ways; however, I don't know anything about adding "jaggies" to games. The only way that I could see that being possible is if the TV has some post-processing stuff going on. With that being said, I have seen some LCD/LED tvs that have some weird motion blur. The 2 pro's of an LCD/LED tv are better viewing in brighter rooms and no picture burn, but other than that PLASMAS out perform

@sk8er251cc ok I got it, I'll buy a panasonic plasma because I saw many people saying that the TV is very good and they've heard are the best TVs available in the market, say 600 hz makes a big difference, and also say that resolution of the motion plasmas humiliate motion resolution of LCDs and LEDs, if you have a dark room without much light the plasmas seem to be the right choice

@sk8er251cc I just bought a P42G25 plasma.. I love it. I have a LG LCD, but it was terrible for games. Bad viewing angle and much more. The plasma out performs it by a mile. I think it does just fine in bright rooms. At night though, it comes alive.

With a net top you could probably run more 3d games, because the good ole xbox only has a 733mhz processor. The one thing I really like about the xbox is how easy the controller interface is. I never have to configure controllers, just plug them in. With a pc I found that any time I was to add another controller I had to configure it. So just personal preference I guess.
