I've been enjoying the Joe Purdy record for the last month or so. Great stuff! Thanks for posting this. Was the lit crown part of Joe's act or was it there from the club?
@vasypher Glad you're liking the Purdy! He's really put out a lot of music in a short amount of time, and it's fun because each album seems to have a theme to it that takes one to a different time period or place. That crown belongs to the bar. It's pretty cool if you ask me. Fidele
@hjrosasq I can't tell you how relaxing and wonderful it was to get to smoke indoors, yes, they allowed the pipe! It was a weeknight, so everyone left early as soon as the show ended and it was really calm--and clean in there. The air was actually cleaner than in most non smoking places, the tables were wiped down constantly, the staff was friendly. It was a real treat to go to one of the last places in the country where people are normal and easy-going. Fidele
In English "gay" with an "a" means "happy, " but most often it means "homosexual." But "guy" with a "u" means a man, any man. But I'm glad you're liking the guy (Joe Purdy) more and more. I had such a nice time seeing him and visiting another town. It was a wonderful trip and I hope I can do it again soon. Fidele
@LoQ123 It was very satisfying and that place was one of the calmest and friendliest I've been to in several years. They even let us smoke pipes & cigs INSIDE after the show when the crowd left. I didn't want to leave it was so relaxing. I loved the bartenders, the bouncers, the crowd, everything. I even had a shot of whiskey, and that made me very happy! Great trip! Fidele
