Toooooooo much vibrato. Especially at the very beginning. The speed, though, is amazing. I'm rehearsing it with an ensemble and we're no way near this pace.
If any of you are familiar with Rossini's works, you should know for one, his attention is detail. and that its obvious that his intention for a chamber group to be exposed like rusty nails.. this is far subtle then what you are all thinking. Each voice unto its own. I love this performance as well as fav it 5+ I love it because it ultimately shows how Rossini should be performed! A+
Its a pity the choir doesnt blend despite the fact they have an excellent pianist. Every memeber of the choir sings too loud. They lack shape and dynamics
I think your unfair. The main dynamics indicated by Rossini are Forte and Fortissimo and even FFortissimo. So, I guess they sing they way it should be sung.
too much vibrato, I don't like it's not as pure as it must be!

voci femminili troppo "vibranti".

Trotzdem sehr hörenswert!

By far the best performance of Roissini's Cum Sancto Spiritu I ever heard! Siete bravissimi.
