Why can't they just build a control pad that is compatible to any PC based gaming. Not that when you look at the requirment at the back you will see "keyboard and mouse only" I mean if developers put on a control pad may most of the console gamers will go to PC. Because I found that this is my issue on PC games except the RTS games I used keyboard and mouse. But to a fast phase games control pad is a must for us console guy. Building my gaming PC.

Got my PC, every my friend said it will work with Black Ops. Guess what? It doesnt.

Specs: Nvidia GT 420, Intel Pentium E5700 Dualcore 3ghz, 4GB RAM, Win 7 64bit. I know its low but it should run it at lowest-medium smoothly. But no it has so much stuttering and CPU usage is 100% even some lower CPU's can run this smooth. Idk really if I got just robbed 50euros and I got this PC 1month ago.... Already planning buying new PC. Somebody help me to choose good but not so expensive parts. Thanks.

The most important FPS' of all time are for PC/DOS as well. Wolfstein 3d (The game that created the true FPS, 1992) Half life from1998 (later released for ps2) and many many others. Yes RPG's are best on PC but it doesn't mean that that is all PC's are for. Plus the ps3 and the xbox have appauling graphics.

I'm a bit of a noob to all of this, I see that monitor reading 2560 x 1600 for the resolution. I know the GTX 580 is able to handle this but do I also need a 2560 x 1600 native monitor or can I just use my regular 1920 x 1200 and force it to run in 2560 x 1600 by just selecting it in the game's settings? 2560 x 1600 monitors are hard to come by and ridiculously expensive..

Howcome I run this game at max with a single 6870 ati radeon card and have an average of 60 fps.. What I heard was that 5870 was so much better, and this was ran in crossfire.

The coding for crossfire 5870 is not as good as the 6xxx series.

Also It depends on what the game is optimised for. In this case (and many other) that is NVidia. The 5870 isn't that much better then the 6870.. its just a bit better. And it depends on your other hardware aswell.
