  • Hi Kah Kay, I'm from Singapore too. May I ask where your piano was purchased & its price? I am looking for an upgrade so thinking of trying out Seiler's upright grand and grand pianos. Is yours a baby grand piano? Thanks.

  • Hi. My Seiler 206 was purchased at Cristofori Funan Center in 2002 for $38K. It was the showroom model so it cost less than what it would have sold for. It is a 7-foot grand.

  • That piano looks and sounds bbbeeeeaauutifuulll.

    Makes me wanna cry.lol

  • Thanks for your kind comments - it is a Seiler 206 grand piano that I have had for 6 years.

  • Thanks alot for the info. I'll probably go over to take a look. $38K for a Seiler 7" grand is a real good bargain! Ir sounds very good. My budget is only about $15k for upright grand.

  • Thank you for excellent performance. This is highly artistic performance. Its great.

  • Wow, you REALLY played this well! I love this piece with a passion too. Very passionate piece!

  • Great job! I was wondering if you have any tips on practicing/learning this piece for I am learning it at the moment ;). thnx

  • Thank you for your comments. I am glad that you liked it.

  • To me this piece touch the heart. And you touched my heart too. BRAVO !!

  • Thank you for your kind comments. It is indeed a passionate work and it has touched my heart too.

  • i love this piece how long did it take you you to learn it?

  • Thanks for your comments. It took me about one month to learn it and play it to some degree of decency.

  • Took you one month? Wow! How many hours a day did you practice? I am starting piano lessons again in January and this is one of the pieces I will be working on. I've taken lessons for 10 years of the 22 years that I've been playing piano, and I'm now ready to move on the bigger pieces. This is an inspiration to me!

  • Very nicely played! However, it does sound like a re-incarnation of Horowitz's version. You should think of your own interpretation! But very well played :)

  • Thank you for your kind comments. No one can ever re-incarnate Horowitz. He gave me a lot of inspiration to learn this piece.

  • extremely nice performance

  • Thanks for your kind comments.

  • And you do a very good job, Pushkin.

  • Thank you for the encouraging comments. There is a lot of work to be done on it. I must say that I am very influenced by Vladimir Horowitz's rendition of this etude.

  • Oh, I have no idea who that is. You know, I'm very little educated at this, I just like the music. :)

  • It's a pity that the sound quality is so low for it's a nice song.

  • Thanks for your kind comments. I recorded it with a 8 mpix Canon digital camera.
