We are not comparing the X100 with a camera from 1960´s, its only an example of classical design of x100... we explain it, but in Spanish .. Thanks for your comment
Oh no! You are comparing the X100 to the FED 2? I agree from an appearance standpoint, the design of the X100 is very classic. But, the functionality and the way you compose the shot is ENTIRELY different. I love my X100 and my Rangefinders, but they have different applications.

it's has an APS-C CMOS sensor. Micro 3/4 is basically your GF3 and EPL3.
Although I agree it is over price by about $300USD, I love mine and the image quality I get keeps me reassured I made a good purchase.
