I feel so sorry for that unsub, having to live through the life he did.

Notice how at the end he wasn't getting any ticks. His visions probably ended then and most of his brain went back to normal. I think that the unsub was looking for wholeness and killing his father was the way to that wholeness.

Saddest ep that ive re-watched this week! the poor guy, how did he survive that, how is it fair that he has to live the rest of his life with those killings on his conscience, his dad was a cunt, like how could he treat his own son like that? ps he is the cutest lil kid ever on cm apart from hotch's son =p and may i just add poor hotch :(

there is something extra extra special about this show. there are so many procedural dramas out there (bones, the csi's, ncis, all three law & orders, etc) but CM has a certain aspect that elevates it and makes it more than "just another cop show." the characters are portrayed perfectly, the acting is impeccable, and the plots shake me to the core.

@jujumagumbo21 in my opinion its that cm is more realistic. there r more things about the characters that we can relate to. more emotions then with the other shows. the other movies r just too,...blah......no emotion at all. every character cares for the others. there's emotions, feelings, its as if u're there right next to the ppl like u know them all. thats wat makes cm the best show out there.

Holy crap, this was one of the best episodes ever. The killings were brutal and made me wince every time. But the concept and the way they executed this episode was just absolutely fantastic. And the fact that there was so much Hotch/Prentiss subtext also adds to the fact. xDD

I was almost racing home to rewatch the episode and read some Hotch/Prentiss fic. Thanks SO MUCH for putting this up! I almost cried when I was watching this. xD

I think its just who she is people are reading too much into it. She is like that way with Morgan and Reid. She overcompensates.

Hotch and emily are superior/subordinate they can't be in a relationship one of them will have to leave the BAU. Hotch is better when he is with someone NOT associated with the BAU. I like him and Haley's sister.

One of this things that gets to me so much about this show is the way it gives the characters so much depth. It doesn't matter how many people Darrin hurt and killed, I can't help but feel torn up inside over everything he went through. It makes me so sad. *sighs* Another brilliant episode.
