  • Thumbs up for Dr.Zarkoff and 21footxpress.Like both thier videos on youtube. And a few more.

  • You do a very good job with your videos. I get alot of emails thanking me for the few videos I did and your name allways comes up.I need to post more videos soon. Keep up the good work.

  • Your quite simply an amazing teacher, I would love to have a teacher with your gift.

  • @nicholascapp Thanks for the compliment.

  • I assume Mexican made product don't suffer from the same stigma as "Made in China" products. Are HVAC products made in Mexico reliable?

  • @kxmode Personally, I haven't noticed a product quality problem with any specific product not made in the U.S..The biggest reason why many Americans say that the quality is poor is because there's no other way to lash out against the big corporations that out source work that could be done within the U.S.. For example: Ford cars used to be made in the U.S.. Now they're made in Mexico. Employees at Ford used to buy what they made and be proud to drive a Ford.

  • @kxmode Nowadays, the common Ford employee in Mexico is unable to buy the very product they make. It wouldn't be so bad if the cars made in Mexico were sold in Mexico. A much wider gap between the poor and the wealthy has grown in the U.S. as a result of NAFTA.

The Chinese situation has simply added salt to the wound. Big corporations flood the U.S. market with cheap goods and wonder why sales of their products are on the decline. I could go on forever with this. Maybe a future video.

  • Great videos keep them coming!!

  • Hey Dr. Z, are these used only for electric heat?

I was thinking it could be used for a fan delay for any furnace, as long as there was a high limit inline with it that is.

  • @juncho1977 I actually used one on an old furnce parts were no longer available for. The customer could'nt afford a new furnace so the sequencer worked fine.

  • @INTOGUNS1 Awesome, thanks for the reply.

  • @juncho1977 Sequencers are typically what you'll find to bring on the electric heat.

  • You need to put out a DVD

  • Thanks

  • Thank you for the very informative video Dr. Z!! Really appreciate it!

  • @84randomdude Thanks for watching.

  • good vid. i dont like them things they fail a lot.

  • @V8Jagnut I have to admit that I'd rather use a contactor to bring on the heat strips.

  • Great video, more electrical components is always welcome!

  • @therdtube Thanks.

  • Thankyou Dr. Z for refreshing my brain with HVAC, since trying to find work in this field is getting tough after graduating. I'm afraid I'm going to loose what I learned in School.

  • @Dcdatruth85 as long as u know how the unit u.r working on is supposed to run during normal opp. then you can fix anything you need to know what each controls job is, then you just find out who is not workin. like when ur on at nite and the calls are backn up behind you it should take 15 min. to figure out whats wrong, then just find a way to fix it dont be a parts changer you wont learn a thing. sometimes you have to be maguiver until you can get the rite part for the unit.

  • @Dcdatruth85 Thank you for watching.

  • if you hd the knowhow then yea you can

  • I had to have a fan sequencer replaced once. Is it something I could do myself?

  • @yllekr123 You could as long as you're careful and are sure that the power is off to the unit before working on it. Also, you might have a difficult time getting the sequencer from a HVAC parts house unless you're a tech.
