The moderator, my brother, is Dr. Gregg E. Kimathi Carr and he is currently serving as the Chair of the African and African-American Studies Department at Howard University. This lecture, which a group of us from the AAAS Dept. at Temple University, where blessed enough to be able to travel to see...actually set-up the cataclysmic showdown between Dr. Clarke and Dr, Karenga at the academic conference in Philly later on that Spring.
This took place back in February of 95' at the African-American Cultural Center on the main campus of The Ohio State University, Dr. Clarke was brought in the day after Dr. West gave a speech to a larger audience on campus.
I couldn't pick up the name of the serial killer(?) that mutilated the dark skin women while sleeping with light skinned women. Corena, Karana??? It was before my time, but hopefully some one can add the name for clarification? I wish whoever had the original tapes could transcribe this. I'm pretty sure it would make for compelling published work.
Cornell Contradicts his self by Saying we shouldn't give up on folk, but when Dr. Clark was talking about the uniting of all Afrikans he says that we are all different. Okay we different, but should we still give up on the Pan African movement because of this???????? I don't get it.
@TheAngloman That is a (young) Dr. Greg Kamathi Carr. A great teacher and stalwart for African sovereignty. Type his name into Youtube and find some of his interviews and classroom discussion at Howard University where he currently teaches.

Was it Maulana Karenga? I never knew much about him, but I had heard rumors of a criminal past without any specifics.
