@chris200830 But you've got to admit, he sure is a hell of a lot tougher in this version. I mean look at him! He survived being hit by a oncoming train and swung back up as if nothing happened! He even literally stopped one with his own back! And what happened? Oh just a little woozy, that's all. Sam did an excellent work putting his commitment to the franchise. But I didn't feel his effort was as good with the 3rd. He probably just got tired of it. Lets hope Mark Webb will live up!

@massivecrown Sony was pretty much forcing Sam Raimi to ruin the 3rd movie, but i do believe his first two movies he put a lot of dedication to, and the fight scenes, are great, the reboot is going to do have to do lot of work to surpass the fight scenes in the original.

Let's see if the reboot can integrate such a powerful scene like this. I ALWAYS get goosebumps every time he tries to stop the train, and his screams - you can really feel how he WANTS and HAS to save them, even though he knows it'll cost him his life. Saw this in the theatres, and the emotion around me was overwhelming. People's eyes were just so wide and you could feel how tense and amazed everybody was.

This is one aspect where EXTREMELY cartoony CGI actually works to the scene's advantage. It actually makes Spidey look a believable superhuman being.
