  • Damn Sony Vegas Is That Old

  • hey some tuts are not working on your filmmakeriq

  • it begins 4:15

  • I thought this is super difficult, but now i now how stupid i was. THANKS !

  • How can you click enter?

  • First shot of either clips??!!! WHUT> XD

  • So you pause, click that little save button, and you're done.

Shortest tutorial ever for that simple thing

    /sarcasm

  • so helpful....i'm a beginner in sony vegas

  • this was a fucking waste of time you could of made an 8 minute video a 1 minute video what the fuck was all the talking for just do the damn tutorial

  • a much easier way to have a person walk in the background is to do the jump in a green screen and put it as a video overlay with a regular video of you walking around

  • ^^ thats so freaking easy haha thank you

  • thank you Man ^^

  • how do i get the black borders away from the screen?

  • you cant add text.

  • 6 or 7x too long. maybe 8.

  • How You have got these nice effects? i dont have it!!

  • 78.001 ^^

  • Helpfull =) NiCe Tutorial......Regards From Germany

You have do it so that all guys and girls understand it!

    Nice Job!

    And its hopefull!

  • haha watched this for like 5 minutes just to see you click the print screen button and drag the picture in

  • nice video. where did you find that sound effect or do you know anywhere i can find sound effects? :)

  • im gonna put my brother to bed by freezing time from me jumping off the couch i think its gonna look cool

  • .. Are you serious about your lastname? xD

  • How do you get your playback screen to not be choppy?

  • is there a way to just copy and paste a frame without having to save it as a pic?

  • @koolieststunningham

Actually yea, you should be able to split the track the same way the guy did in the tut then split it again on the same frame so that you end up having --video leading up to jump-- (split) --single frame where you stop-- (split) --then the rest of the footage-- Then grab that single frame where you stop and stretch it out to how ever long you want it. That should simplify alot and you dont have to worry about it looking different than the rest of the trak like this guy did

  • thx cool tutorial :D

  • whats the best settings for HD rendering?

  • how can i do the timeline to the top and the video review to the buttom ?

  • @edhardyi Drag it -.-

    its simple!

  • good job thanks and God bless.

  • very useful, but u couldve explained this in like 3mins >.<

  • The basic of this is to press the "save to snapshot" button on top of the video box, there i just save you 5 mins

  • Can this be done on final cut express??

  • hey can u tell where did u find the sound?

  • I heart Sony Vegas Pro

  • wtf was it on 0:08?!

  • damn, you talk too much.... a tutorial for 30 seconds you made 8 minutes

  • Everybody show this tutorial, but nobody make the sound track back together in one piece. Not helpfull. Tnks tho.

  • how do i take a screen shot?

  • I think the most useful thing i learned was that i should make my video box best - full. when rendering.

which..ironically, took less than a minute..

  • I think the most useful thing i learned was that i should make my video box best full when rendering.

  • yeah

  • Really helped me thank's a lot

  • Thanks!_ :D

  • I have vegas 9 pro, and no matter what settings i i set before render, the size of the image is ALWAYS bigger than the video itself, and its annoying! WTF?

  • @Veksler96 You wanna go to 'Event Pan Crop' (of the video or the image depending upon which is SMALLER, in your case the video) In there you go to Source and UNclick the Main Ratio Aspect Box or in case there's an option set it at "No" That'll work

  • @HikariKamiya16 Still didnt work :(

  • So you make a tutorial video, try to show something that doesn't work and you STILL upload this crap? You even don't bother fixing it! You're a fucking attention whore.

  • helpful,but it's to long,but thanks^^that helped me a lot

  • thanks

  • this is cool, cause then you can mask around the frozen clip in the middle and add a cool background...looks sweet..

  • You know how you video was kinda laggy in the preview, is it going to be laggy like that what you render it? or does it get better?

  • hey, why you didnt show the example?

  • thanks man it was really helpful but i couldn't hear the effect you put in through youtube :/

  • You're good at tutorials. Thanks for posting.

  • Is there any way to fix the aspect ration being off on the screen shot?

  • Doesnt work if you render your vids any bigger than 320x180. If you do so the image will be in a really bad quality.

  • read the description.

  • Ok? lol

  • hey i like what u did on your vid and thanx for helping with the freezing i do vids as well but im learning to do the freez go check out my vid if u can its called SOLO MANN UPP

  • how is your video preview separate from all other tab so that you can see the preview as you work on the editing? mine is with the other tabs so i cant see what im doing while i edit.

  • could someone help me, when i am running my sony vegas it stops loading at "crating audio engin" (i go pirated..)

  • wow...ur really gud..... maybe u can help me, i have this problem with my voice stuffing up in a vid and i was trying to get rid of the audio for a few frames only but wen ever i try it mutes the whole audio. can uhelp me pls?

  • Click the audio, audio track, split the beginning of when your voice stuffs and the end of it, then delete the spot in between.

  • tnx n1!!!

  • most helpful thing ever! o.O

  • then you can cookie cut the frame where your froze and then put another clip in wlking in the shot and going "Holy Sh**"

  • why I dont have the widescreen option?? you download it? (i have sony vegas pro 8.0?)

  • man... ur videos r exelents, but u speak much...

  • Revolucion, if he barely spoke at all then how are we supposed to understand the tutorial?

  • Your tutorials are really awesome but I can't help it...Wow your last name is Schindler? Dude, that's awesome!

  • For time freezing u wouldn't have to photoshop the guy out... U could just take a still picture of nobody on the scene... (but your camcorder would have to be still, too)

  • just what i needed. thanks man

  • thanks 5/5

  • 2 Split clips how to put them together? knew it once but forgot how to do it. so you have a 1 large clip on the time line

  • check the video response from mac7899 check to see if it ok please

  • Thanks, this is exactly the tutorial I was looking for.

  • thnx ^^

  • what butten do u press wen u need to speed up a clip or make it faster

  • Right click on the clip itself, hover over Insert/Remove Envelope, then choose Velocity. A green line will appear through the clip. (Very similar to a volume line on an audio track). Double click on the green line where you want the effect to begin. A green square will appear. Now move along a bit and double click again. You can now drag the squares up, down and sideways to achieve the rate and degree of speed up/slowdown that you want, dead stop, constant or progressive. Hope this helps!

  • OMG THNX ^^

  • This is exactly what I thought, I'm surprised the creator of this video did not know about it. The final result is a lot better and it is 10x simpler to do. Also, I accidently clicked 'Spam' instead of 'Reply'. Sorry dude.

  • Or an easier way is to hold ctrl and drag the video a certain amount, it save having to cut the end of the video

  • That does work, but it apples an identical amount of 'stretch' to the whole clip. A velocity envelope allows you to vary it.

  • yeh true, i just cant be bother ed changing the end of the clip, coz if u slow it, the end of the video repeats and im like "Meh" (Ctrl Drag) haha

  • tnx man =D

  • thanks bro it help me alot

  • man , this is too great i suscribe :D

  • Isn't it a lot less trouble to put in a Velocity Envelope, drop the speed to 0% for however longer you want the freeze to last, then put it back to 100%? You can make the freeze instant, or have a variable rate slow down/speed up.

  • which sony vegas version do you have because mine doesn't have that wide border?

  • how do you change the lightings in the video clips?

  • I Got A Question -

Its Normal I Got To Wait So Long Till My Vegas Is Ready To Use ?

    Tell Me Please :D

    Nice Vid Btw

  • Can u please tell me what does "Snap Offset" mean? It can be found on the slides on the timeline. Thanx!

  • Thanx buddy! u were awesome! i finally understood how to do it! thanx!

  • As always, your tutorials are a great help. Thanks for taking the time to make them....

  • about the widescreen problem, drag the effects to the track bar to the left of where the video is
