no you are born to make the world a better place, a revalution as the world has never known has started, all the world is ready to remove the evil people that keep us all down, make songs say what is in your hearts, the freedom that was here in the 60's can return it will take the young the old all of us to remove the monsters that control our sad world. nov 15th 2011 gather again.
The 1st time I walk into a live music club (the Marquee) I'm 15 years old and this band is kicking my ears in at 2000 decibels...weird hippies playing electric violin WTF? It was so wonderful
I understand that it could be utterly out of place to ask in the midst of this beauty, but cannot curb my curiosity: what is he singing about? Any lyrics? I could not figure out even the title of the song... a few words here and there (hear some German as well?!) but overall have no idea what is he saying. Any help will be much appreciated.
@ForzaBosnae I have the cd, and it is indeed hard to hear... I don't recognize any german though (I speak it, so I should know) and at one point he sings something about flowers and then "When your dragonship has come out/ take me to and I go higher"
heavy velvet drapes in the seventies bedsit that stayed closed while experimenting heads delved into the exotic visions this band conjured up. farout!
i love this music,it`s timeless and for this time absolutly different to normal music. i heard it,when i was very young and it takes me into another world.
@12makes4 I to, just see lots of people "dancing" (if it is a sexual dance) and blaming the name of music I fell depresed... but see musics like this, and the hope of better changes gives me happyness#)
East of Eden "Mercator Projected" was among my favorite albums, along with 50 Foot Hose, Ultimate Spinach, Blue Cheer, Mad River albums, when I was a teenager. Blown away to find anything by them anywhere. So much thanks to you.

the words were probably so deep and meaningless that there was no point in them interfering with the far out groove ...very entertaining music!

Saw East of Eden live several times in London in the early 70s. Great band, much underrated. Very adventurous and creative.

This band had Dave Arbus as a member, right? The guy who played the violin solo on "Baba O'Riley"..
