  • saw them open for Slayer on South of Heaven tour '88

  • ΝΑ ΣΕ ΠΩ ΚΑΤΙ ΘΑ ΜΕ ΚΛΑΣΕΙΣ ΤΑ @@ I WILL FIND YOU ΚΑΙ ΜΑΛΑΚΙΕΣ ΟΧΙ ΣΕ ΜΕΝΑ

  • Amazing album, only one guitar fucking sick!!!

  • This was one of my favorite bands in the late 80s and I probably still have this album on cassette somewhere!

  • What Texas had a Thrash/ Death metal Scene back then!?!?! what?!... fuck i was born way to late!

  • @BrujoAsesino123 Ministry resides in west Texas and I believe that's probably why they developed their their thrash metal/industrial crossover sound. member of Rigor Mortis and Ministry have known each other for quite some time and the lead vocalist from rigor mortis appears in one of the webisodes of "the make of relapse", relapse being Ministry's upcoming album.

  • @BrujoAsesino123 retard

  • Rigor Mortis live in Mexico city with Obituary on february 2012 can't wait !!!!!!!!

  • Another underated act. R.I.P.

  • Is this Rigor Mortis from Corpus Christi, Texas in the eighties?

  • @ProChoiceJesus Apparently their from Dallas/Fort Worth, but its probably the same band your thinking of

  • @Hughesy16LFC Yes! Dallas/Ft. Worth! I saw them a couple times at least as they came down to San Antonio to play certain metal shows as an opening act.

  • @ProChoiceJesus Rigor Mortis is located Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas

  • still got this vynyl

  • Is it Mike Scaccia who plays guitar in some Ministry albums?

  • @danielcvs1975 Yes, one and the same. This was my favorite band at the time and I recognized the buzzy sound of his guitar on a later Ministry album.

  • This sucks ass. I expected much more from a band with this name...

  • @serianelordtepesh This is a brilliant band, you're obviously a fag considering you judge bands by their name.

  • @serianelordtepesh This has some room for improvement but is the crucial link between straight-up thrash and death metal. Rigor Mortis, Necrophagia, Possessed, and Kreator all lead the way towards even harder music and without them, we wouldn't have seen the likes of Deicide, Carcass, or Cannibal Corpse.

  • @serianelordtepesh Fuck off and die.

  • great band, move those heads ¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡¡

  • You all fail at trolling but don't worry jesus still loves you.

  • @meatjucifer No one is trolling. We all legitimently hate your "scene" and your music

  • I was listening to this shit when you were all wearing nappies

  • @mockerofscoffers And it's still shit.

  • @hangsambo12 429 likes > 16 dislikes

Looks like you're a minority, buddy

  • @mockerofscoffers a minority within a minority?bahahaha.you need to grow up jessie.rigor mortis?hahahaha!

  • Is this Crossover this kinda remind me of D.R.I but not not vocally though

  • Somehow I went from Terrorcore electro...to this...but not bad.

  • @meatjucifer TerrorWHAT!?!?!?! What the f**k is that?!?!?!

  • @meatjucifer your genre sounds like some scenefag tecno breakdown shitty music

  • @meatjucifer FUCK OFF SCENE KID

  • @meatjucifer i just checked out terrorcore. its a bunch of scene posers trying to make industrial music. it sucked. hey everybody reading this comment! do scene kids fuck up almost everything they do?

  • @wikiwikiwee1 yeah, theyre douchebags

  • this shit rules! the intro reminds me of like slayer mixed with suicidal tendencies

  • THUMBS UP IF ITS ONE OF THE SICKEST INTRO SOLOS YOUVE EVER HEARD? :D

  • @MrShinigami7 I shit myself bro.

  • dat bass...

  • you know bruce is in warbeast

  • holy shit bass.. keep those fucking fingers going XD. great song btw.

  • i want this cd sooo bad but i could only find it on amazon for $70

  • @starcraftbw1998 I recently got this cd on amazon for only 25$, original capitol records first pressing, but now the cheapest is 60$, snooze ya loose.

  • @robinzhooded i got the re issue instead because i want the bonus tracks, foaming at the mouth is unbelievable. Fuck you though, i payed $61, give me some money

  • @ThrashTillDeath322 I also have the original vinyl of this album and freaks, and I got both for only 3$ each.

  • They remind me of gwar

  • I dont like the songmelody but the instruments are really good.

  • hands up if you have went out at night hunting for fresh blood after hearing this song

  • Oh Fuck Yes.

  • Rigor mortis fatal to the flesh : )

  • Easily one of the best thrash metal bands from texas. If not, THE best thrash metal band from Texas.

  • haha all you old school dudes thats fucken sick. my dad has a tape somewhere thats how i first of this band my dad is 40 im 19

  • One of the very few metal bands that I still not only listen to, but still love.

    YOU WILL ROT!

  • is this immolation?

  • @ksjoris01 nah these guys where before immolation

  • @santosj11 This Rigor Mortis (TEXAS) turned into the mighty GWAR, Rigor Mortis from (Brooklyn NEW YORK) morphed into IMMOLATION

  • @priestabulhol this guys didn't turn into gwar dumb ass

  • @deceasemortician , Oh, EXCUSE ME!!! Yes, your right.. I think I started going to Gwar shows in the early 90's..(94-95ish) The first show I went to I went back stage and started talking to Cassey (BASS) who i'd seen playing with Rigor Mortis years before. I was young and I assumed that since he was a founding member of Rigor Mortis that they must have turned into GWAR.. Guess not, dumb ass...

  • @priestabulhol i excuse you and you are a dumb ass gwar is gwar rigor mortis is still rigor mortis they didn't turn into anything fucking retard not just because they have some members fucking shit head

  • @deceasemortician

    Get off the sack.

    He already apologized.

There were 3 Rigor Mortis bands at the same time, just so you know.

Even I don't know which one this is.

  • @TheMysticWombat This is the original.

  • @TheMysticWombat this is the awesome thrash one

  • @priestabulhol really!?!?

  • @priestabulhol No they didnt you buttlicker

  • @priestabulhol im pretty sure if Rigor Mortis turned into GWAR ud b seeing GWAR doing remakes of Rigor Mortis songs, as most bands that turn into sumthing else normally do that

  • @ksjoris01 No, another Rigor Mortis.

  • niiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiice!!

  • I was roughly about 14 when I stumbled upon this album. Going on 34 this year and I still rot to this album!!!!!

  • dude i hear ya ..I am 38 now and had that when i was that age , still Slammin to all the old shit .. send me a response with some old bands you wanna share and I will respond the same ........

  • Sick stuff!

  • Is this oldskool DM or Pornogrind?

  • @DreamEater26 dude... this is fucking thrash

  • Oh my god, my pants grew. And now i made mayo. . . anyone want some?

  • its actually THrash Metal not death metal.

  • @zeroheroiii well good job pushing people away from your favorite artists.

  • @zeroheroiii My dad is pretty sure anything harder than the Stones is "death metal Shit"

  • you know this shit JAMZ

  • YES. Oldschool Death Metal!!! One of the first to start using the growl vocals.

  • @MutilatedStateOfMind Umm Thrash? -.-''

  • @dinodemic Both genres are part of the hardcore punk scene that emerged in the early 80's. I think that Rigor Mortis falls under a little bit of both categories.

  • @dinodemic Old school DM is pretty much thrash anyway.

  • @mightywarriorx They all have the same Hardcore-Punk influence with distorted bass, blast beat drumming and crushing guitar leads. Oldschool Death Metal is very distinctive to Thrash Metal from the mid to late 80's. Take Death's Scream Bloody Gore for example. For 1987, it sounds pretty Thrashy for its time period. But to people from that generation, it was the most Brutal creation to ever hit before Obituary's Slowly We Rot in 1989.

  • Hell yeah the Texas scene is sooo underrated. Morbid Scream,HammerWitch,Gammacide,NECROVORE,Devestation,D.R.I.,Rotting Corpse. so proud to be from Texas GCHC!

  • I missed them at the last Gwar show. Kind of annoyed me but at least I got a t-shirt.

  • memories....

  • fuckin' awesome

  • great SHIT!!!

  • I got it when I was 17.The day I got it my buddies and I got this old Mexican dude that would buy us beer to buy us a 6 pack each of Mickey's big mouths and we got tore down to this S.O.D.and Agnostic front liberty and justice for at our hidden half pipe. Those were the days eh.

  • Seriously, I have a friend who's nic-name is Rigor Mortis.......and we have been listening to this shit non-stop, since we were 16......I'll be 37 in May........fuck I love metal, it makes my balls twitch......FUCK YEAH!!!

  • @InNominus It makes my balls jump around..

    Lol XD

  • Comment removed

  • welcome to the wonderful world of rigor mortis my young friend........enjoy!

  • there from TEXAS, got to live up to being good, look at PanterA

  • @gutterchrist Yeah, I can definitely hear that punk influence. 80's galloping style simlar to Iron Madien too.

  • @gutterchrist punk??? well id say thrash. the drums have some kind of tracces of punk music though

  • @gutterchrist I thought the same thing

  • @gutterchrist They are putting together a new album. with this, the original, singer.

  • joes

  • rigor mortis is fucking amazing. this album and their ep freaks are my favorite. i am so glad that i didnt sell this album like i did with a good number of my thrash lps.

  • AWESOME !!!

  • '87-'88 was a great year for great metal,

and rigor mortis was one of the best.

  • 1981-1994 were the best years for American metal. Thrash metal, death metal, doom metal and groove metal culminating with Pantera and Slayer going into the top 10 of the Billboard Charts in 1994 at 1 and 8 respectively.

  • lets just say that the 80s and early 90s was the best time for metal period.

  • Groove Metal is fucking awful. Rigor Mortis however are fucking awesome, one of my favourite thrash bands

  • true- Casey Orr from gwar, mike went to ministry! they played ozzfest 08 dallas- it kicked ass!

  • This sounds like Venom. With slightly more impressive shredding.

  • its ok get low...as long as you search and give credit to true metal..no problem for small name mistakes..but oldies like us around their fourties are a little concerned about the individuals that created the music...thats all...keep rockin'......

  • OK,sorry, wrong name,it's Casey Orr not Randy, for you bitches who care about the right name, you should be happy that someone knows Rigor Mortis,i'm 13 years old -.-
