@skitzo429 it depends how fast your voice develops. my school does an opera every year and we did the magic flute 3 years ago. a sophomore was the queen of the night. nothing happened to her

peoples voices do develope differently, but NO ONE is ready for this at 15.  if youre talking about a sophomore in high school singing queen of the night (im guessing?) they were able to produce the high notes by a prepubescent screaming, not any mature vocal technique. of course nothing happened to her immediately, but its known that over taxing the voice while its young (like singing coloratura soprano arias at 15) is cpaable of causing the voice to deteriorate much sooner than it should
