Amazing. It's quite amazing what film can do. To record such a time in his life, and the ability to visit that time and place so many years after. I can't imagine how personal this must be to Marty, perhaps the one he treasures the most.

There is something about the older generation of people, inparticular those from certain parts of southern and eastern europe, who had a great ability to tell stories. I guess there was a bigger sense of exteneded family and togetherness back then and telling stories was a large part of family bonding.

Sadly it is becoming a lost art today amongst the new generations. Possibly because the role of new and fast interactive media has detached the individual from the family.
