This was a hundered times worse than Bottle Gate. The fans tried to cost San Diego a chance to go to the playoffs. Thankfully, the fans failed miserably.

Fans are not allowed to throw things on to the field. It is unacceptable to throw things on the field no matter what. And in the bottlegate incident, nfl rules stated at the time that "If it is determined that replay buzzed prior to the snap, even if another play was run, the previous play can be reviewed". The bottlegate incident was called correctly according to the rulebook. If fans throw things on the field, they need to be kicked out immediately and never be allowed to return.

Then why did they replay the play? If what you said is true, they wouldn't have replayed the play and even if they did, they would have ruled it a completed pass. Second I saw the Quincy Morgan catch, he was juggling the ball, then the ball slid down his legs and touched the ground. And another referee was buzzed prior to the snap, more than one referee gets buzzed. And if you are a Browns fan, these guys didn't ruin your season, they lost 2 of the next 3 games which got them eliminated
