Another good one that I enjoy playing bass. I will vid myself soon and post. Thanks.
This song has a long history for me. Learned in Sunday school as a kid, watched it being sung during civil rights events, helped me deal with inmates and others when I had top defend my position, and NOW back to simple enjoyment of a wonderful song. Thanx for the trip.
I replay this every so often and remember the happy times at Grossman's in Toronto. I thought it would go on forever. It is particularly touching as we lost Cliff not long after this video.
Well done Berty (B.T.), It so nice to view this video,specially when you have met everyone in the band and knew Cliffie and George so well. A true Delight with Erling's pattern chord change at the end of each chorus. Joe van Rossem.
"Kid" Bastien was one of the hilites of my graduate school days at Grossman's Tavern Saturday afternoons. Thanks for this trip down memory lane.

That's the real "December Band" sound!

Very right comment. The tenor sax solo reminds me of the Capt. John Handy's style.

I love Dixieland; I love Gospel;
Gospel Dixieland is the best of both, and you guys did a bang up job.
