Acer Iconia W500 Tablet PC running Windows 8 [SPEED TEST]

Did you install windows 8 on there? Cause if so, was it simply just installing it on there, or because of it being a tablet, did you had to go through a more complex way to get it to work on there?

@rustygrimm1 Yeah, I installed it on there myself using a USB DVD drive, but you can put the files onto a USB stick & install it from there. There are loads of tutorials on the web of how to install Windows from a USB stick :)

Installing Windows8 is incredibly simple & fast :D

It seems a good match for WIndows 8. Do you know how many touch points it supports? I've tried to find a video of someone using Paint (say) on the w500 to see if you can use 5 or even 10 brushes at once like the Iconia 6120. Or is it just two fingers or what? I'm interested for music, to use as an on-screen playable keyboard, I'm a music software developer. Thanks

i have seem some too, but i think it would be hard to put more then 2 games on it ( low ssd) it would be cool if you put a game on it ( if you want), but i want to see more then just gameplay, like: the laggs, start up time, and more, it would be cool if you made a vid like that :)

Sadly its not what I really need right now. Im just going back to university & I need something that can handle doing 3D Design work when Im out & about, so I plan on selling this & getting a more powerful 'boring' laptop :)

@CrisRowlands i have a powerful laptop and i only need the programms:ACCES EXCEL AND WORD so this tablet could handle it ( i am a student and we need a laptop at school)

@deniz11muis1 Its a Windows Tablet PC, so it will do everything every other Windows PC will do :)

It handles multitasking just fine and whilst I havent tried any out myself, I too have seen various videos of games being played on the W500.
