  • Nice bike, congrats.

    I'm considering a Burgman 400 myself.

I love my cheap china-scooter and the 250 engine does well enough for highway riding, but I think a Burgman 400 would be a nice compromise of a solid quality bike that's almost as good on the gas mileage.

The 600's gotta be lots of fun to ride.

  • you should be pretty damn proud to own one of those

  • As i'm going for my 33bhp license in december, anyone have any idea what bhp a 400 or 650 burgman puts out? I have a 50cc peugeot elystar but quick question about distance on burgmans, does long distance damage the engine, variator, rollers, crankshaft clutch or belt because my 50 scooter cannot do longer distances, will a burgman do motorway (freeway/highway) journeys comfortably with no damage?

  • @BigBadFrost I think my 650 puts about 45hp. it runs great on the hiway without damage. you must have a two stroke engine in your scoot. i just turned 28,000 miles on my Burgman. with no proplems

  • After a wreck on a 150 (getting thrown off the horse), to get back on I found a 2006 650 on Craigslist. Took a while to get back on the bike. Been on 5 day trips to eastern Oregon, and down to Crescent City, CA and back up the coast. I get 43-46 mpg's in town and on highway. I love my Burgman, belong to the Oregon Scooter Club. Thinking of going to Yellowstone & beyond hopefully in a couple of months. Nothing beats the comfort & speed. Size matters! :)

  • @neppy503 it's good to hear your back on two wheels. Thanks for watching!

  • Its seems I replied to the wrong person. I was talking to the person below, I enjoy the video, because I'm a touring scooter rider as well. Sry for the confusion

  • I currently ride a 2011 Harley Davidson Road King, which is great! However, in my past I had TWO Suzuki Burgman Executive 650 Scooters and they were terrific examples of two wheel transportation. Faster than my Harley (which has a 103 Cubic Inch engine). I went back to a traditional motorcycle because I guess it's in my blood. But still, I have enormous respect for the Burgman. There is now an 880 scooter put out by an Italian mfg.

  • @borge225 thanks for watching!

  • 1copy and past

2.post this in other two videos

3.hold your breathe for 10 seconds

    4. press refresh twice

    5.look at your hand

  • Its a scooter..... a dirtbike cool , quad bike nobody would say something but hell its a scooter they are made for fatys :D

  • piss off! what do you ride? don't be scared of what you don't understand. put your bitch helmet on and i'll take you for a ride on the best bike i've ever been on. it's a Burgman. take note.

  • @bryanb1973 How about you show a video about your self riding a motorcycle and kill your your. Im in with then. Other than that Piss off, you know nothing about scooters

  • @kevinzhang9112 I'm sorry kev what do you ride? sooo if my Burgman is not a scooter what is it? why would want me to die? that's pretty messed up. I've owned a dozen street bikes and i've rode for about 30 years! how about your wise ass?

  • @bryanb1973 I love my 2003 Burgie 650 to death, and it beats the hell out of "other" brand bikes.

    Burgies forever!

  • @ac3b1s Hi there i pull in at 68KG and i ride a 650 burgman take off the plastic its a motorbike with 53 brake horse power and end speed 190 kmh and i live in Germany and ride at that speed everyday when there is no snow on the road do that with a dirtbike

  • vcool try some neon under it!!

  • I had two of these, a silver one and a black executive just like this. It is an amazing machine. I just don't understand why it hasn't sold more. One day I drove this scooter 95 miles at 105 mph and it was very comfortable. I'm talking 105 MPH solid...not one moment of backing off on the throttle. Another day I had it up to 111 MPH on a slight incline. I've embarrassed many a Harley with this scooter. Quiet, smooth, powerful, fast, and all for under $10,000.

  • @borge225 well said. thanks for the comment

  • @borge225 It doesn't take muchto embarrass a Harley rider with our scooters! :)

  • YES, i had several bikes, scooters (incl. t-max 500), now i buy a burgman 650 K6 and i can confirm, IT IS THE BEST BIKE and SCOOTER EVER !!!

  • NVM... Just seen a video riding at 115km/h xd

  • I hope its not a 49cc for 8900...

  • @KAMIKAZEMW2QC it's a 650cc

  • minchia, che brutto non si puo vedere,,,,

  • Fjoll Moppe!

  • Hey Bryan, I have the exact same bike. You sound like you're from the northeast. I am in Foxboro, MA. Where do you ride?

  • @joecburke Hello i live and ride in michigan. sorry for the late response.

  • Hey DopeOwl, I just got a bike from Jbikes.ecrater.com about 3 months ago & this dirt bike is sickk... drives amazing.. It took about 8 days to get to my house ... Thumbs up :)

  • bagman...?cmon..

    Greetings From Hobart Tasmania :)

  • number1barber Why the hell are you watching Burgman Vid's Is Their Sooo Fucking Ugly??? Get A Life You Dip Shit.

    125 Majesty MY ARSE Baaaaaa

    " BURGY'S FOREVER "

  • i drive a 125 majesty and have to say you now proudly own one of the ugliest things i have ever seen. you scooter is streamlined like a brick. seriously why did you buy a square scooter. my scooter does 70 mph with me on it and i aint small non motorway limit is 50 where i live. i paid £350 for mine had it for 2 years now and it still keeps kicking.

  • beauty

  • that´s a livingroom O_O

  • WOW! very impressive machine.

    ...thanks for subscribing too.

  • i rode that 650, used to be my aunt's, i love it the way it rides, gets 87 MPG, and it's smooth and fast too

  • Hi Bryan! Nice 'Burgii'. I haves many Burgmans; one 400, and tree 650, and i think isnt best tour bike. You have nice on Christmans! All the best to You greets from Warsaw,Poland! P.S. Sorry for my englisch...

  • Thanks

  • @rafalek7203 dick head.

  • @LOL1994jake Can you explain to me exactly what you mean? Because I do not recall that I did you wrong.

  • i hate to break it to ya but that isnt a bike... that sir is called a scooter!

  • yes your right. but take one for a ride and you will see it feels like a bike!

  • no i used to ride a gsxr 600 and this would feel nothing like that

  • I have a 2009 Yamaha Majesty 400, which I love, it gets 50 or 51 mpg, and has more storage space than the burgman, but I saw the burgman in the dealership where I got it and I fell in love. I haven't been able to get the Burgman exec. I saw out of my mind since. If you were me, what would you do? Would you keep the Majesty, or trade up to a Burgman?

  • yes I would if i had the money. i have over 17,000 on it. and it's the best ride i've ever own!

  • get them panels on the floor round roundabout the back wheel comes off the floor then tips it,s self back down scary your first time but lets them sports bike riders know you ain,t no slouch

  • burgman definetly

  • enjoy your majesty for awhile, then your burg will be all the sweeter later... on long rides i would feel better with 15 and 14 inches in the wheels of the burg compared to a silver wing or yours with 14 - 13...

i still wish my wheels were larger, but this is the top end scooter... and i sure as hell dont want to fork out tons of money for an auto motorcycle like a RIDLEY, something well over 10,000$ and less mpg i would guess, maybe some day, i'll keep my burg like you should yours

  • Let me tell you guys something;

    I've owned the following;

    3 Honda Shadows

    2 Harley-Davidsons

    1 Honda Valkyrie

    1 Honda Magna

I'll never ride anything but a Burgman now that I finally got one. They are amazing!

They are fast, great on gas, handle like a dream......the list goes on and on.

    I adore my 2006 650!

  • Hey - how is your mileage now? Surely it must have improved after the run-in?

  • it's about the same 45 mpg hiway if your nice with it! i put a bigger windshield on it and that didn't help gas mileage. how about yours. i have about 17,000 on mine

  • i want the same bike ... but can we travel for a long distance easely ??

  • yes i have. you can put the stuff you need under the seat. and just go for it..

  • Thanks for watching. have a nice day!

  • 45 mpg not worth bragging about?, sure it is! Look at most motorcycles gas mileage and even some 650cc m.cycles don't get this... for 525 pounds or so thats good mileage, and its an auto, which gets less overall - in cars anyway...

  • i hate cars and trucks and seat belts! i had a 250 that got 74 mpg!

  • i had a 2002 250 Suzuki, GZ250, got low 60s mpg due to windshield, my height/weight, bags and lots of lights in the city... they claim over 80mpg for the new GZs... good luck with that!

    what 250 did you have?

  • a ninja 250..

  • at 6'4" i didn't fit on a ninja, but i tried one and considered it...

i took out the back rest part of the burgman to give my knees more room - plugged up the two holes and have a air vent pad for what little bit of back support this now offers, but it works... even with a 650 burg i had to make adjustments for my long legs...

people waste so much money on harley's - buy jap anything and you are not only saving 1000s!, but getting something more reliable as well! - i wish USA could do this!

  • i know its foolish to my long term survival, but two wheels is really FAR more fun getting around than 4 - and with another gas crunch we will only be the pride of the street all the more.

hell, its bad enough now. i can get under 20 MPG in my park ave ultra 1994 or get more than double this with a 650 burg. 74, thats amazing! you have bragging rights - while dummies that pay 1000s more than they need to for bikes that have power they will NEVER come close to using and they can't get 40 MPG

  • its a motorcycle disguised as a scooter, so don't be confused... lol, you must be joking...

you have auto, power auto and manual (shift) - so it technically can be a motorcycle if you want to ride it that way - most everybody just sticks with the basic auto, its more than enough... i love my burgman, i have the first year they made it, 2003... shifting sucks

i still love my "BIKE" the most, those two wheeled non motorized bicycle things whose owners should take back BIKE from "bikers"...

  • It's nice on the hi-way because you can lock it into gear . unlike a auto.

  • good point, i got the low end oldest burg, that had problems, even a recall of wiring i took care of, and you have the high end, new and executive... i got mine for $2800 with a bit over 12,000 miles, so i'm thrilled to get this for that price...

there is also some scare about a bearing, which you don't have to worry about... by 2004 they took care of a few problems the first year had... and your extending windshield cures a long term problem with burgs, thus the executive, the best scooter!

  • Love my 2003 650. 48,000 miles on it now.

  • I have over 16,000 on mine with no proplems

  • have you done any work to it?

  • I have a 2006 650 Burgie, and just love it to death!

I keep up with all the big boys on their Harley's and Goldwings!

Best bike in the world! Great video! :)

  • thanks for watching!

  • Do you keep up to 600cc super sports?

  • yep i have doged many of them.

  • haha my bro has the exact same but i got an 125cc

  • Black is my favorite color for the Burgman. There all nice.

    Nice ride!

  • Hey, that's a scooter..not a motorcycle.

  • I didn't see anyone call it a motorcycle... they said bike.

  • Was that 45 mpg city or hiway? Did you finance it or pay cash...the 2008 Executives are just over $8,000!! I have a 2007 Burgman 400 and get about 48 city and 62 -65 mpg hiway. I rode mostly hiway yesterday for the first time and got 62 mpg, if I had rode all hiway with no stops (red lights) I would have easily got 65 mpg. I really like the 650 better but the purchase price and lower gas mpg makes it not cost effective for me anyway.

  • It's 45 hiway.

  • I have a Yamaha Majesty 400. I really like your Bergman 650 Executive. The Yamaha is a great bike also

  • yes i love the burgman.i think the speed i would have to get use to it.

  • How is it a manual?? (ie. Where's the clutch/gear shifter at?)

  • @Neon8787 I had two of these, great bikes. It's fully automatic. No clutch. However, you can "shift" from sporty to standard. Sport has a lot more go power because it stays in 2nd or 3rd gear, whereas standard is for the hiway. Although I always left mine in standard and the only thing that could beat me was a sport bike. What's funny though is I now drive a harley Road King and it gets 54 mpg whereas I only got in the 40s with the Burgman. Must be the automatic transmission.

  • This bike can replace a car. Pretty cool.

  • Be sure to wear a dark visor so people don't see your classic Burgman grin.

    I have a 2007 Burgman 650 with almost 30,000 miles. It's great.

  • thanks for watching

  • Nice Bike, I also have the Burgman 650 Exe 2008. Ride Safe.

  • Nice bike. ( BTW, you suck!) j/k LOL One day I'll get an Exec but for right now I'll stick with my standard Burgman 650. I don't know but I think Clearview makes a windscreen with a vent for the 650 Exec. Your stock may suit you but I really like the vent on mine. Ride Safe
