First and foremost, pretty decent setup VX. What dB did you hit with those? At first it bugged me out, but that bottoming out sound can grow on ya after a while. Does things for that song that most other subs don't. As for the battle between the HCCAs and SoloX. They were compared by Orion. You can make a good guess as to which sub blew first. The kickers(a good brand non the less) may do some good damage, but these are reliable...much much more. Too bad the video camera doesn't do it justice.

theres not really a bad sub out there only a bad installer and a badly designed box. over here in the uk we also have a few of those people who claim to know everything, using extreme subs that can eat up 5k rms all day long but simply dont know how to use them. you can use 250-500wrms and shift so much air and get good results, so its down to the box design. i used 2x jbl gt5 12''s which cost me £30 each and got the car panel flexing, ear popping and even set car alarms off with only 600 wrms.

sounds and looks like its being underpowered but awesome set up keep it up and rememeber only way its being bottom out is if it goes over 4 inches of excursion then its being bottom out :) it doesnt look like its barely moving so image it being movin 4 inches it would hit harder so try adjusting your amp for more excursion these subs can handle up to 5000 watts each Good Luck!

trust me, richard knows what hes doing. the sub is moving as it should be. 4 inches of excursion is good but playing constantly with that much excursion can do damage to the sub. the subs are taking as much power as they should be and are tuned properly. One amp in this video was "defective" which gave the bottoming out sound.

thats definitely not enough power, you will need 4000w rms

to run these nicely, but playing them on 6000w rms will be wicked. make sure you upgrade your wiring to 0 gauge and the big 3(3 ground points) and give it plenty of battery power and you will be very happ
