I had the immense honor of being the 2nd half of the bill with Jack at the legendary Ash Grove in L.A. in about 1958, then stayed on there as the light-man and saw him several more times. A great icon of our generation. Irreplaceable

That's just Jack. He's a bit obsessive/compulsive. A good man, good heart. Knows more about music than most people will ever learn. He's lived the life of 10 men. Great American story.

Jack did an eastern tour in 06 or 07. Ive heard him many times, but I think that was one of his best routs. Thanks Jack.

Thanks for posting this. It is a great example of the real "Ramblin' Jack" rambling. Probably the most influential picker/performer of the first and second folk revivals. He was the transition between Woody and every aspiring folk performer from the late '50's to the '70s. Fantastic video!
