I grew up in Winnsboro. I remember having to sat upstairs and go to the side window to purchase my ticket when the princess was a movie theater. Blacks were separated from whites, who sat in the lower level. I have said all this with gratitude of what I see here, blacks & whites at the princess not only setting together, but also entertaining together to which I would assume, a mixed crowd. I had forgotten that fact until you mentioned it here, but I remember it distinctly now. It's weird how one doesn't realize sometimes exactly what's going on. The performance takes on extra meaning from that perspective.
