Jose Menenedez, in particular was feared & not very well-liked. He also kept his family quite isolated, especially in the years when the boys were young & they resided in New Jersey. Makes you wonder. The parents didn't deserve to die, nor should their sons have killed them, but I think there was a lot of pain in that family.
