I read the Animal Advocates article about how your production had dozens of innocent rats killed for the purpose of being stuffed and placed in a scene. Why kill 40 little animals to decorate the set of a movie about our love and connection with animals?

It doesn't have to be "Saving Private Ryan" material in order to be an Oscar winner. It's all about the story, acting, cinematography, and directing. This film looks amazing and I can't wait to see it the 26th!

War Horse does nothing to glorify war; instead it shows the true horror of war and the tragedies suffered by all those touched by war. The only "glorifying" of which it is guilty is the glorifying of the bonds of friendship. After watching this movie, I'd be surprised if people aren't absolutely disgusted by "war-mongers" as you call them.

@squeezewilson9 I've read the book, it's fairly well done. It's up there with Red Badge of Courage and All Quiet on the Western Front. While I'll admit it isn't as great as the two I just listed, it's still a pretty damn good read, and you have no right to judge it if you hardly even know what it's about.
