  • More vids!!!!! Show some of it driving. Gotta see this in action man. This is a teaser

  • Only paid 4k for the setup! And took about 4 months to get it running! Kid of a nightmare lol but so worth it!!

  • How much did you pay for the motor?

  • It's funny reading comments some guys out there will find any reason to say an old 5.0 engine in better lol what year did Ford design the old 5.0? Yea time for the newer powerplant I'd say!!! Nice setup

  • how much psi are you running to acheive 500?

  • So how easy is it to drop a modular in a fox?

  • thats just another one to add to my want list

  • could u use a twin screw from a 03-04 cobra on that 4.6L motor

  • @bmoney082 I believe you would need different heads. I think the 03-04 Cobra's used the B heads.

  • @pwkid Nope, the 03-04 used C heads, B heads were on the 93-98 Mark VIII & 96-98 cobra, I believe the 03-04 heads breath a little better.

  • @lpvintage and the 03-04 heads where made by design for supercharging

  • nice SC

  • I dont get it ... I´ve heared those 4.6 modular engines are "too wide" for Fox Bodys tho I´ve seen a mio vids about modular fox bodys.

do you have any overheating- or any other issues with this modular 4.6 + fox body combination ?

I´ve heared about a 4.6 modular based engine named "Aluminator" developing 700Bhp in pump gas

imagine a 700Bhp 4.6 in a light Fox Body Mustang. it would run low 10´s on street tires easily - also with a average manual transmission.

  • @3O2MuStAnG

Swap to a 99-01 K-member (elongate rear bolt holes) and the motor drops right in. You need to fabricate a tranny mount and get a wiring harness from a 99-01 cobra or Mach 1 plus computer

  • Sick car and what kinda wheels r those?

  • whoever owns this car, contact me I have a similar setup and have a tuning question.

  • badass car dude

  • thing looks dope man. nice car

  • sweet fucking car man soooooo niceeeee

  • now-a-days you can get 4 lug mustang rims. But you might have to buy them new

  • i have a 03 4.6 and wanted to know would it bolt rite in a fox body.. if not what all will need to be done

  • just get some 4.6 motor mounts for a foxbody

  • converting to 5 lug is actually cheap and easy. sn-95 spindles and brakes and two left side (could be the right side, but i cant remember) axle shafts from an 80s ranger. remember the drums too unless you convert to disc. the whole point of 5 lug swaps are for wheel options and brake options. there isnt a whole lot of aftermarket setups for 4 lug brakes. 5 lug has MUCH better options.

  • What is the whole purpose of converting to a 5-stud? Is it just for the wheels or is the 5-stud actuallt stronger? Just wondering.

  • Just came across your vid 91notch and i have to give you some major props on a very sweet ride. That monster mod install is one of the cleanest i've seen, looks factory. GREAT WORK !!!

  • Sweet Stang dude. i gots a 1993 T-bird 5.0 L H.O

and i love it, i would have gotten the SC but the 5.0 has more of a punch to it. check out my video of it...

  • No Replacement for Displacement and were talking about a 281 vs 345.7 and a stock 5.0 block is only to about 500 before it cracks depends how bad you beat on it

  • pushing a 5.0 stock motor to 500 hp? Not happening. They push 225 to begin with that's more than doubling it's HP out put. Not happening

  • A friend of mine has a stock 5.0 with an HP turbo kit on it and of course an upgraded fuel supply with some badass heads that is pushing well over 600 at the wheel through an automatic transmission. So don't call bullshit just because you have never seen one. Youtube HED Turbo and watch him run a 6.17 in an 1/8th mile track. He has run 8s in a 1/4.

  • 6sec in 1/8 = 10sec in 1/4

  • Tons of people have 500hp stock block 5.0. Google is your friend. Research then make comments, easiest way to not look like a tool.

  • why the hell would u swap a 5.0 to a 4.6?maybe a 5.4 will work but 4.6?5.0 motor is way way better.

  • the 4.6 is DOHC, which means it has more power than its predecessor 5.0L OHV V8. its smaller by 22 ci [281 vs 302]yes and 40 lbs lighter yes but packs a greater punch than the 5.0 will ever do

  • mmhmm i wishy i had her in my stang.

  • too complicated and costly dohc

  • just because its 22ci bigger does not overall mean its a better engine epically if its out of an newer stang when the started with the aluminum blocks

  • dont matter if its smaller or bigger i just mean a 5.0 is a way better motor overall than this new 4.6.a stock 5.0 block can handle up to 500hp easy.

  • And a 4.6 like mine can handle 700 hp easy, hence I dropped the Eaton off my 2003 Cobra and put on a 2.6 Kenne Bell @ 20 psi with a CAI, exhaust, and tune. STOCK MOTOR running 595 rwhp with the stock IRS. The fox body could NEVER do that without major work. Plain and simple.

Ford went with the 4.6 for a reason. The 5.0's are sick, but the 4.6 is faster and more efficient.

  • sorry bro but just wait n see was gonna happen to your block.if the 4.6 can handle 700 hp they wouldnt drop a 5.4 on a cobra they could have save money and just use 4.6.plus parts r more expensive for the 4.6 and the exhaust sound dont compare to 5.0 or 5.4 this is only my opinion what i think about this not meant to say im a pro because im not and i dont know everything .peace

  • Look on youtube. There are LOTS of Terminators like mine. They came with a forged crank, rods, and flat top pistons for low compression (forced induction). They were designed for that power from the factory, not to mention my rear end and tranny are still stock and fine.

The 5.0 sounds very much like the 4.6, but its your opinion which is better. I personally prefer the 4.6 sound.

  • actually a 5.0 can handle 500 hp but u take the chance of spliting the block at that power. happened to my friend, but the stock 2v blocks can handle 700hp supposently without worring about that. not to mention the 4v teskid blocks are one of the strongest aluminium blocks ever. plus how can u say that a stock 5.0 is a better motor than the terminator motors. i love the 5.0s but get your shit straight dude

  • Yeah true, but with that being said the Cobra motor 4.6s handle well over 1000 hp easy STOCK. Other than supporting fuel mods of course. I love 5.0s but also love the capability of the new 4.6s. I just love Ford in general

  • yes the 5.o is a good motor but the dohc 4.6 is rated for 1000hp from ford

  • you lucky bastard thats fucking the sickest shit ever nice ride.

  • what a dream!!! fucking sick bro! u got any videos of the car in action?

  • humm makes me think about the LS1 swap a little less. i'd like a DOHC project. the configure will be better in a few years when prices come done on mods. not eveyone can play in that ballpark. i like 5.0 but the over head valves are just to superior in technology. come on 5.0 *OHC!! how about an LS* DOHC man talk about some power potential.

  • is that a 98 cobra motor?

  • Dude, is there room for that thing or what? Im swapping a 4.6 Quad cam to my fox. Going carb though.

  • The car put down 500 rwhp and 515 torque! And I agree with iammalloy 32 valves is the only way to go:)

  • @91notch46 If you like extra work and don't mind spending a couple extra bucks modulars are great, but I can see why some people like to stick with the push rod.

  • @kingcobra101z very true. I personally like working on pushrods better because they are infinitely simpler. @91notch46 I personally like the SOHC 4.6 because to me adding two more cams seems less efficient.

  • @thing503 Don't you mean more efficient? SOHC are easier to rev higher.

  • @kingcobra101z well, I should have rephrased. lots of DOHC applications don't produce more power than SOHC applications, contrary to popular belief.

  • @thing503 Actually they do, now torque on the other hand.

  • sweet..a 98 cobra motor with a procharger.

  • By the way, how powerful? lb-ft and HP

  • DOHC are proper for sports cars. It's really pointless to have a new 2008 mustang.. calling it a sports car when it only offers SOHC and has less power then with DOHC.

Nice mutstang, great color, LOVE the rims nice choice.. as well supoercharger sounds sexi

  • Id say a Mustang and Camaro are muscle cars and a vette/ Ford GT are Sports cars...the new gts have 300 hp but they are too damn heavy..ford screwed up again..dont get me wrong they can look sweet and are quick with the factory 3 link now..the 3valve heads do offer close to the same flow as 4valve heads..but nothing beats having 32 valves!

I hear what your saying though.
