Most of the source material they are using is from the Ultimate comic series. Besides, you should know that Hollywood is never 100% faithful to their original source. So why complain and just come to the realization that every comic book adaption wont be 50-100% to what a few or many people want it to be?
I dont about anyone else, but I think the new spidey is way more accurate to the comics than the old ones. And plus they're will be less CGI and more practical makeup/visual effects.

They got far, far too comfortable with Alex Ross' awesome intro paintings. I could be wrong but I think this film is gonna suck the big one. Wish they'd carried on from Spiderman 3 (making some improvements on it) in Spiderman 4 sticking with Sam Raimi and Toby Mcquire etc.

@TheSNK1986 Not all. I think he did a brilliant job! The problem isn't the acting. The problem is in all the drugs dudes must've been on after Spider-Man 2 making Spider-Man 3. They got far, far too comfortable with Alex Ross' awesome intro paintings. Part 3 is like they had an amazing story and shots lined up but then the fucks I'm talking about, the friggin nazi radical brownshirt brigade, showed up trying to include all fans said verbatim to make them look bad. Then cut out the best parts.

I was really looking forward to Spider-man 4 but really, what the fuck was Marvel thinking about rebooting the sequel! They already had a great sequel. Even though Harry died at the end of Spider-man 3, I thought the sequel was amazing. A great movie is supposed to have a twist. That is what they did in the latest movie. Who the hell would make a 30 year-old man play a teenager in high school! DISNEY WOULD!

@spidavenom4 Why? Alot of fans are pissed that they chose to reboot instead of finishing the Raimi saga. They could have done a recast and finished that saga. This movie although it looks good looks very low budget compared to the last three (my opinion). Hopefully this movie will be great. If not then I guess they can just reboot it....again.
