Great upload, please lets have more of these interviews of british stars of yesteryear being interviewed. Its outragous that british domestic actors are often not interviewed these days and I think interviews like this should be repeated on tv.

i worked in a restaurant off the kings road in the 1980s ,he use to come in with very rough boys they behaved very badly and so did he he got me the sack one night , then one night out side the sombrero club he was in his rolls trying to pick up my friend , we told him what we thought of him ,

Russell Harty was an idiot!!..the worst interviewer on TV..asking pathetic ill informed questions..how his show lasted as long as it did..god knows..Gordon is so articulate and modest and and if feel sorry that his time was wasted during this banal interview.

I totally agree with you,he was very unprofessional..and I think thats why he lasted that long,viewers enjoyed watching him make a fool of himself,but what made him stand out more was when Grace Jones gave him a clobbering for turning his back on her..lool
