  • The United States of America is a capitalist republic as the Founding Fathers dreamed. A socialist democracy is what they HATED! Jesus would not be for Marxism because it limits our God-given, natural, constitutional rights! We can't get around or away from it.

  • lol "I don't think Jesus would approve of hedge funds if he was here"

  • Democracy in the workforce is the original idea of Socialism.

    what and idiot!!

  • So Jesus wouldn't approve of George Soros?

  • @Salvysahagun Regarding George Soros, read the parable of Lazarus and the Rich Man. If Soros understood where he was going, AND WHY, he would be dumping his wealth as fast as he could!

Contrary to the Randian-Mammon religion of the U.S., the very possession of such wealth is evidence to great crime. He, and others like him, stole such wealth by arbitrage and equity stripping. Jesus would very likely approve of the 1950's tax structure which redirected wealth to better purposes

  • @InfiniteMushroom

You should look into March on Haliburton by Moveon.org and how soros profited from that.

Eisenhower rose taxes then introduced deductions. A 91% top bracket could write it off down to about 40% still more then today.

  • @Salvysahagun I didn't have room to mention the tax deductions. Eisenhower knew where the money ought to go and his Administration was proven right in that regard. Reagan let the rich do what they wanted and they became a cancerous monster. Instead of money going to useful projects and social matters, the rich blew their money on mergers, offshoring, campaign contributions, Wall Street, whores, drugs, and the Seven Deadly Sins for 30+ years.

Bring back the Eisenhower tax structure!

  • @InfiniteMushroom

You realize Hoover is the one who took the top rate from 23% to 91%.

Not to mention the only reason we have an income tax is so we can Federal Reserve. Dennish Kucinich is begining to realize that. YOu can do 91% and the Trade Agrements of the 1950s. I would rather have it be the other way around with no income tax, 60% Tariff rates and Government issued money(no federal reserve)

  • @Salvysahagun AH! I get where you're coming from. I'd ALSO like to see no income tax, high tariffs, and government-issued currency, as well! Most people don't have such horizons to even consider those ideas.

The 1950's solution is restoration to a better version of the paradigm that's been around for most of the 20th century. Restoring the full measure of FDR's New Deal and codifying his 2nd Bill of Rights is as close to the American System of economy as we can hope for.

  • @InfiniteMushroom

The Second Bill of Rights was to be a doctrine. Not a law.

My plan would better bc we have a dollar crisis coming and I can only imagine what it will do to the world. Reindustrialization should be the priority not this Green energy crap.

  • @Salvysahagun I agree about reindustrialization. Green energy is, at best, a helper source of energy. It can never be a primary source.

Regarding the dollar crisis, the best way to secure the society against the collapse is for gov't to award allodial title to primary residences, which will protect people from economic cannibalism. Society must not be destroyed to satisfy paper! Taxes on high value property and bonds in the new currency can be issued to level out wealth inequity

  • @InfiniteMushroom

You level out income inequality by having Unions in the industrial sectors. Their are nations with lower taxes then us that have lower Gini's. Taxes has very little to do with inequality. Collective Bargaining is key. (reminder: you don't always need a union to collective bargain) Push for Union owned technical schools that teach manufacturing. And instate a 50% reserve ratio on banks with Nationalized Debt Free Paper money.

  • @Salvysahagun Again, I agree. But, your solutions are for down the road once a restoration - revolution cures the cancer that is destroying us. My solution of allodial title to primary residences and redistributive taxes is to protect the social fabric from the collapse and shock wave.

Our economy is WAY too efficient at collecting and inefficient at producing income. Collections should be no more reliable than income. The best way to cushion the collapse is to force that balance

  • @InfiniteMushroom

I stand by "no direct tax should be layed on the people"

Thats the way it should be. We don't need an income tax now or ever.

  • @Salvysahagun Corporations are legal persons. Will you let those "people" get off scot free? The ultra rich hide their ill-gotten gain behind all kinds of shelters.

Before we can get to what you are proposing - damage control, justice, and restoration will have to be done first. That involves deconstruction, restoration, and nullification of all predatory parties

To jump right into your paradigm, without restorative justice first, you will let the greatest robbery in history stand

  • @InfiniteMushroom

That can be revised. They are people they not human beings.

Just naitonalize the FED and turn it into a debt collections agency. ad a 1;1 reserve raito in banks. you can progressivley cut income taxes. issue greenback, wall street turnover tax, National Bank, State Banks, Excise, and pump up the tariffs you could have it done in within 3 years.

  • @Salvysahagun Sounds like a good plan. You've brought some interesting and perfectly feasible alternatives to the table. Too bad nobody else seems to be looking in those directions.

Our oligarchs are masters of mass mind control and Fox News is one of many powerful propaganda organs. Opinion commissars, such as Sean Hannity, Neal Boortz, Bill O'Reilly, Ann Coulter, etc. ensure that the background noise of life is the kind that subconsciously keeps public officials in line.

  • What an idiot. Jesus Christ would NEVER sound and act like a Capitalist. He would act and sound like a Monarchist! He is the KING. And all Kings have subjects. But since this particular King is all good, then he will be a benevolent King. He will never be corrupt, never lie, never steal, never cheat or play stupid games. Salve Christus!

  • Who the FUCK is Michael Moore to tell ANYBODY about gluttony and greed? This disgusting fatass hyprocrite slob makes MILLIONS of dollars from the same capitalist system he despises! This fat FUCK won't get ONE PENNY off of me!

  • @432ps1 He makes all his own money, instead of oppressing workers.

  • So, Jesus would approve of Castro's Cuba? Think not dickweed.

  • @pimpdalyrical It's not about what Jesus would have actually agreed with, it's showing the hipocracy of the conservative Christian big-wigs.

  • @rpsmith014

It says "Jesus wouldn't approve of hedgefunds" in the title of the vid.

And wouldn't that assume Conservatism is an arm of christianity? That's obviously false.

  • @pimpdalyrical Not an arm of Christianity, but Conservatives tend to be much more fundamental, and religious for that matter, than liberals.

  • @rpsmith014

Ok, I could see that. But that's not correlation. I mean, conservatism as far as religion is concerned, just means you believe in the fundamental right to BE religious, whatever that may be, and express it.

Jesus taught you should have to choose to be virtuous, thus implying the freedom to not to be, so that you will be judged accurately. That to me sounds exactly like conservative economic freedom principles. Its your money, do what you will, and the people will decide.

  • @pimpdalyrical This is true, but didn't Jesus also advocate spreading the wealth? It's that scare tactic word "socialism" again.

  • @rpsmith014

Yeah, of your own volition. Taking it from somebody and spreading it around to buy votes is not charity. I just want the freedom to decide who best deserves what I have to give, instead of some bureacrat who's going to waste half of it in the process. And I'm not even religious!

  • @pimpdalyrical I know what you mean.

  • @pimpdalyrical That's why you have a charitable deduction on your taxes. So decide who best deserves it.

  • @baigandine

Exactly. So help us tell government to fuck off so we have more money to donate to charity, where it ACTUALLY does some good, instead of them confiscating and wasting it.

  • @pimpdalyrical Which specific aspect of Castro's Cuba would Jesus disapprove of?

  • There is no real democracy , we live in an oligarchy. The big corporations own our government. Politicians everyday pass things that no one wants (jobs overseas, fracking)

  • If capitalism is based on free markets, then you could never have CEOs and shareholders funneling millions of dollars away from a company without someone else creating a company that didn't do that and putting the first company out of business. Don't fall for their guilt trip bullshit. They only maintain their system by lying and cheating everybody.

  • Jesus was a hedge fund manager.

  • is that karl marx at the top left corner...

  • Although Moore is a Christian, he is a nice guy...

  • I support some forms of Capitalism, just not the one that rewards for failure!

  • @deeppurple28 Ah, but capitalism DOES reward for failure! Ever since Reagan sold America to the bankers in exchange for unlimited credit, CEO's have been paid fantastic rewards for stripping equity, offshoring, mass firings, engineered bankruptcies w/ rigged insurance policies, vulture capitalists who buy huge bonds before destroying companies, mass layoffs for stock points.Capitalism excels in the ability to externalize liabilities onto victims and consolidate wealth to those with real power.

  • I read comments with people's hearts in the right place. That is a good thing, but when are we going to get this democracy? We're not doing anything! Nobody's taking action. That's what the right to bear arms are for. Mwa ha ha ha ha!!!! Let's go get those rich bastards!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @David12King well, in this case, the minority is a bunch of rich bastards that sit on inheritances and trust funds. no matter what happens, they will always be upper crust and rich.

  • ha,,,capitalism, socialism, whetever,,,it acually don't mean shit becasue as much as they are good they can be as bad....All systems are abused by the ones that run it,,,or created it for their own benefit,,,,people pay the price unfortunately....

  • Micheal Moore wants a direct-democracy where you vote on virtually everything and the majority always rule. This kind of democracy basically ignores the constitution and your liberties altogether.

  • @davitodude you hit the nail on the head; also, mass rules leaves a minority with no voice at all.

  • You know what would be really funny...a bus load of hedge fund betters going off a cliff. What would be twice as funny....a second bus load of hedge fund betters going off a cliff. What would be both ironic and funny at the same time...they just filled both buses up with gasoline.

  • Capitalism = CEO with fat pay check WHILST employees doing the real work get a pittance (and the middle-finger as bonus). Employees get told to take a pay-cut or very little pay-increase just to keep shareholders happy. Consumers are fed crappy products just to keep shareholders happy. If not CEO loses his fat salary.

  • @PhantomAct

    free market capitalism= freedom

  • @Voy2378 Take a look at the back of the dollar bill. That pyramid with the all seeing eye, what do you think that is? It also says in God we trust. (Satan) Have you considered why you put up a Christmas tree every year? you are worshiping them unwittingly not Christ. Look at the word Santa, it has the same letters as Satan, just repelled. So it's Satan Claus and he comes down the back chimney:: when your sleeping. Wake up to the real truth. Capitalism is freedom for the rich to enslave us all.

  • @7711ish wow you worked hard on destorting the truth. do you work for micahel moore or the democrats

  • @SouthernDefender5 If we had Moore people like him running this world. We all would be living a better life, not just the chosen few who belong to secret societies who enslave us all with remote Mind control technologies that date back to Nikola Tesla over a 110 years ago. The U.S Government and the C.I.A has now declassified the some 23,000 files of citizens used for mind control studies from the 1960's era. Watch "The Battle for Your Mind" Peace out.

  • @7711ish It is impossible to have "Moore" people like him because "Moore" is not a word. any other argument you give is already considered false since its obvious you believe conspiracy theories.

  • @SouthernDefender5 Sorry for the pun! I'll use the word "more" next time. Is what I state a conspiracy theory or fact? Do the research and you'll see I'm telling the truth. People are kept in the dark and seem to reject the truth, It won't hurt to keep an open mind. How do you communicate with others? Do you see a wire between you're vocal cords and the recipients ear? The wave signal the ear drum and other sensory converts to the brain sensory is the key to remote hypnosis. Peace out.

  • @7711ish you are talking about remote mind control theories and you telling me that you are right? lay off the narcotics.

  • @SouthernDefender5 Have you see that commercial ( Bark off ) Watch it on you tube. You plug it in and it emits a wave frequency that prevents your dog from barking. If you can't figure out that remote mind control is real after all I have told you. It is you that has a problem, I tell it the way it is. I'm sorry you don't have the intellect to see what is really happening all over the world and I have never taken any form of illegal narcotic substance in my life. Peace out.

  • @7711ish or maybe the dog is to interested in the sound than to bark, once you show me an emitter that can make a dog rip the pants off of anyone who walks by ill believe . until then you are spouting conspiracy theory bull shit.

  • @SouthernDefender5 Have it you're way. Peace out.

  • @PhantomAct CEO= risked his money to start a business= he reaps the biggest reward than people who work and normally get their insurance from the company at a lower price than they could out on their own.

  • @SouthernDefender5 really? is that ur definition of the CEO of a multinational company? he came up with the money for that? maybe ur thinking of a small town baker.

  • @SouthernDefender5 I've lived in Florida, a Southern State, for nearly all my life and I know from experience that the South still believes in slavery. Wages here have always been slave wages that are now spreading to the other states. Racism is still alive and well here in the Sunshine State! So, why wouldn't greed and generational theft by the rich be alive. PhantomAct 3 made a good point. CEO must be replaced by share holders who work in that corp. or company and have a voice therein.

  • @octaviaaugustus1950 slaves dont get paid wages.....thats why they are called slaves, employees get paid. 2 racism is everywhere not just the south.

  • @PhantomAct @doctorw2 w*w*w.christiancourier.c*om/articles/1204-should-christians-have-all-things-in-common study, and stop making false claims.. Christ NEVER took from one person's property and gave to another. that would violate natural rights. God chastises the idle and blesses the industrious!!!!!!!!! remove the ' * ' and read the article and read ALL CHAPTERS TO GET THE CONTEXT.

  • @glycoboy M.M. isn't advocating taking from one and giving it to others. He's stating correctly that the uber-rich do take from us for themselves. Again, M.M. is not talking about gain for idlers at the expense of the industrious. On the other hand, he is. The idle rich, who own 85% of American wealth, enrich themselves from the wealth created by poor workers who don't share in the profit from their labor. To make a system more fair, I'd say each worker must own part and say in a company.

  • @PhantomAct You do realize that the American public has just as much say in what a company does/produces as the CEO, the board members, and any share holder. This isn't communism where we are forced to eat what the government tells us. If we don't approve of a product or service, we can redirect that wealth to other places. Say customers aren't happy with the products from company A, they switch to B until A gets into shape. People often miss this concept but it's absolutely crucial.

  • Another point I'd like to make is the flaw I noticed in regards to the fact that "consumers are fed crappy products". Ok, lets say that this company decides to go with you're idea and ignore the share holders and makes better products. Whats going to happen? Let me tell you- price to produce products increases, employees are let off/given pay decreases, American public spends more on products=giant net loss. Not to mention the fact that CEO's paychecks are "fat" compared the average

  • American worker's paycheck, NOT with regards to the company. Take walmart for instance. In 2010, their CEO Mike Duke had a total year's compensation of around 18 million dollars. This may seem like a lot until you compare it to walmart's annual earnings which were above 14 billion. So in reality, your "fat" CEO is only walking away with less than a thousandth of those earnings.

  • @ClearSkyline that's not how u look at it. U take the CEO's total pay packet for a year and compare it with the total of say, the guy who stacks the shelves or a cashier. When you divide the two, u get a ratio. In all greedy firms, this is as little as 300:1... u compare companies using that ratio, big guy to little guy.

  • @ClearSkyline Walmart's revenue is closer to 430 billion dollars. And it's not just the CEO taking huge bonuses vs. measly pay for workers that's unfair. Most of the jobs at Walmart offer NO HEALTH CARE! Even as the richest corporation in the world. Think that's fair? Not to mention the fact that they put local merchants out of business, killing local economy. Imagine that on a worldwide scale. Walmart is known for exploiting workers, even violating child labor laws. The hell with Walmart

  • @thebadtouch04 If you hate Walmart, the solution is EASY! 1) Don't shop there. 2) Don't work there. I don't!

  • @PhantomAct Capitalism=Pays me an excellent wage, covers my family's healthcare expenses, puts money in my pocket, a roof over my house, 3 cars in my garage, a boat in my driveway, contributes generously toward my retirement, gives me 3 weeks paid time off, lets me work from home and provide EXCELLENT products and services. If you want to succeed the only way is to WORK for it. Don't like your job? Your company? Simple! QUIT AND GET A BETTER ONE!

  • @432ps1 This is the 8 year old argument. Do u want to see what 20 angry unemployed youths will do to you, your family and belongings because your so-called capitalism is telling them: guys u might as well die because there're no jobs for u out there and to live in a capitalistic world, u need money! Your system brought them to the cliff. Their choices: Suicide, Drugs, Theft, Jail.

In the US, CEOs get paid 400 time the avg. employee. In UK, it's only 22. USA has perverted capitalism!

  • @PhantomAct Look you ignorant Limey asshole, why can't you mind your own fucking business? Why are there so many of you mutherfuckers inserting yourselves into our business lately? Didn't we throw you the fuck out once already? We don't need you telling us how to run our country. Don't you have enough problems of your own you should be tending to? I really don't give a flying fuck about you, and as an Irish American, why don't you first start by getting the fuck out of the North?

  • @432ps1 U just committed yourself to permanently losing this argument... so sad... Get a refund from ur uni or high-school or whichever education u got to, clearly u dont know how to use ur brain. :)

  • @PhantomAct I don't give a shit about winning arguments with ignorant assholes like you, because I've already won the battle. I haven't given in to pathetic defeatists like you who blame everyone else for your own pathetic fucked up life. Sorry asshole, but my cup runneth WAY over because I have the guts, brains and balls to go out in the big bad world and stake my claim instead of sitting around like you wasting time with your thumb up your ass. Sorry but the world don't owe you SHIT, mate.

  • @PhantomAct You're just a whining litle cunt with no balls, sitting around on the fucking dole waiting for somebody to give you more free shit. You have no job, no life, are nothing, own nothing, can't accomplish anything and can't get laid. Man up, grow some stones and quit complaining before life passes you by. Stop being a whining little freeloading pussy and start worrying about your own problems instead of blaming others for your failures.

  • @432ps1 *yawn* U writing essays now? It's easier u admit to losing this argument. Now fuck off from Youtube.

  • @PhantomAct Go smoke some more pot, you fuckin loser. You'll never grow up.

  • @432ps1 Pot? Please don't confuse your miserable lifestyle with mine.

  • @PhantomAct It's pretty obvious what kind lifestyle you lead when you sit around with your head shoved up your ass and Moore's cock in your mouth. Gay, stoned and stupid is no way to go thru life, sonny.

  • @432ps1 Now I know that you are a no good jobless pathetic troll. Should have realised that when u mentioned POT. Sad sad loner! You live in a dream my faggit friend, finish school, get a job then comeback here. For now, just fuck off.

  • @PhantomAct Blow it out your mutherfucking ass, you detestable piece of shit. I don't know you, I don't want to know you, and I really don't give a fuck about your opinions. And yes, you probably are a pothead.

  • @432ps1 For an enormous amount of people it is impossible to find any job. Yes, I said impossible, because it is. You have quite a naive view on finding work.

  • @FlourescentPotato Hey screw you asshole. I was out of work for 16 months and found a BETTER job than my last one! There ARE jobs out there, hundreds of thousands of jobs, but these days people would rather sit around on the fucking dole. It beats working.

  • @432ps1 I'm sorry that you're so wrong. You were lucky enough to have a job to move from, with the experience that comes with that. Learning some manners will help your communication skills, which would help you quite a bit.

  • @FlourescentPotato Hey asshole, I don't operate on "luck". I made the right choices and decisions throughout my entire life, which obviously you haven't. The big bad world doesn't owe you jack shit, and neither do I. The bottom line is I don't know you, I don't wanna know you, and I don't give a flying fuck about you, your opinions or your problems. Why the fuck should I care? Now go get a fucking job. Cleaning toilets or flipping burgers would be perfect for you. Fuck off.

  • @432ps1 Right. I'm sure that many Africans are starving because they made bad career decisions. You could read my previous comment; I never said that you need an opinion about me and I didn't say that you owe me anything, other than the basic respect which should be given to everyone. Interesting that a person as bigoted as you would watch a video of Michael Moore with any intent other than harassment. A little rich for a person as affluent as you to criticize people wanting jobseeker support.

  • @FlourescentPotato Please, go over to Africa and bring that rich fattass pal of yours Moore with you, & fucking STAY THERE. Oh, and while you're at it, bring that Irish prick Bono too. Why is Africa MY problem? Is it SUPPOSED TO BE? Sorry, I'm not on board for a guilt trip. You wanna blame someone for Africa's problems? Take it up with with Africa's former colonial masters and Mugabe, & Zuma, NOT ME. Oh, by the way, Whites are getting murdered daily in SA, but you don't care about that, right?

  • @432ps1 I don't favour African people over any other, it's an example. Strange that you immediately dive to the defence of white people but criticize the use of a historically black nation in an example. And why did you search for a Michael Moore video if you dislike him? You make Africa your problem by ignoring the problems faced by the people living there.

  • @FlourescentPotato You're a moron. Go back to sleep.

  • @432ps1 Was it hard to type that with your donut in your hand?

  • @FlourescentPotato How hard is it to speak with Michael Moore's dick in your mouth?

  • @432ps1 Nope, that's in your ass.

  • @FlourescentPotato Fuck you and your fatass best friend Michael Moore. I can't wait until he has a fucking heart attack, the fat slob.

  • @432ps1 Witty, have you thought of writing a book? Oh, that would mean you would need to be able to read, or write.

  • @FlourescentPotato Read this: Blow it out your ass.

  • @432ps1 Hurry up, your cousin is waiting to sleep with you back home.

  • Comment removed

  • @PhantomAct "Whilst" LOL! Trying to sound "Brit"? What a fucking loser! HAHAHAHAHHA

  • @432ps1 Everyone, this person @432ps1 is a well-known ARAB PEDOFILE TROLL on youtube. He doesn't have job and has a monitoring bracelet on his ankle because he rapes children. He even made his account visible so u can't block him. Don't reply to this TROLL.

  • @PhantomAct LOL "Pedofile" !!! LOLROF!! What's with the hatin on Arabs now? Please smoke some more dope, This is fun!!! HAHHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA

  • Also, greed and corruption can corrupt government too. Who watches the watchdogs when they go corrupt? That's why God is the ultimate authority, with man alone, there isn't accountability.

  • @timcp1 good point but greed already corrupted the government. If the U.S could a good solid socialized health care system, and took away large "donations" from defense companies insurance companies and other corporations, the U.S would be a happier place. Sorry that im sort of off topic, but watever. Anyway, i respect your opinion i can agree on it in some terms, but wat can we do to improve the well-being of this country? Micheal moore thinks making a new government system is the way

  • @TheMoviesandgames, To some extent greed has corrupted the government. Why then would we want to institute another socialized government program that becomes corrupt as well? It's proven that tax cuts heal economies, Reagan did it with the Kemp/Roth bill and other tax cuts, Clinton did it by slashing capital gains tax. If people had more of their own money and there was less government intrusion into private business then their would be more affordable choices for private & gov. health plans.

  • By what authority is Michael Moore to determine and tell people that people can't be rich? Apostle Paul said to give with purpose in your heart, not out of necessity or grudgingly, but willingly, for God loves a cheerful giver. If people are rich, we can't just make them re-distribute their wealth. Even in the Old Testament a percentage that God required was 10%. And yet, when you look at the tax brackets of Socialist nations, and even the U.S.A. they're a lot higher then 10%.

  • "Sir, I am in the hands of a merciful God. I have full confidence in his goodness and mercy...The Bible is true. I have tried to conform to its spirit as near as possible. Upon that sacred volume I rest my hope for eternal salvation, through the merits and blood of our blessed Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ."—Andrew Jackson--Andrew Jackson and the Course of American Freedom, 519—Democrats need to get back to their spiritual Christian roots, not homosexuality and all forms of sin.

  • How about living on a commune? There's this one for-profit commune where the men who reside there work to build products which they sell. The ladies there take care of the daily things like laundry, haircuts, food, etc.

No salary is given....you just have to put in your 40 hours and all your needs are taken care of. But everything in the commune is SHARED

  • capitalism american style is a european feudal system with one caveat. keep enough people happy to buffer the masses from getting to us. the police, the politician, and the judge ought to do it.

  • Moore is like the vast majority of people in that he wants a better world. The sad irony is that he's promoting more of the same BS that got us that has been at work for decades now and will make things worse. Capitalism isn't the problem; crony-capitalism is. Trying to get rid of capitalism is like throwing the baby out with the dirty bathwater (the crony part).

  • Capitalism should be replaced by Democracy...

    Democracy = political system

    Capitalism = economic system

    Socialism = political system

  • michael moore is a well-establshed liar! Nobody should listen to this hypocrite! He is making money off of the very system he claims he is against!

  • There is no other system right now with which you can make money dude. Capitalism is the only system. And are you sure that his warnings are going to make things worse, or better?

  • @Conail23 What "other" system is there in Hollywood, bucko?

  • YeeeeeaH Micheal.!!! speak the truth everyone!!!!

  • so now michle moore thinks he speaks for Jesus? Ok just my opinon but that is blasfmy, what gives him the right to speak for god? You check his films, he hand picks the information that he wants to use in, facts gathered that don't agree with what he is pedling is not included. If Mr. Moore should look at AL Gore and the global warming movement and use his journalism on them as he does on the veiws he doesn't like. That is journalesm report the news if you like it or not, and just the facts

  • don't we live in a democratic republic ?

  • Michael Moore wouldn't be where he is today without democracy.

  • AMERICA IS NOT A DEMOCRACY YOU IDIOT, MICHAEL!

    ITS A REPUBLIC. Damn man.

"...and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands..." Remember?!

  • sweden has been a 1 party government for like 50 years. but that doesn't factor in to standard of living measurements. not a very nice place to be if you disagree w/the government.

  • with that sort of reasoning means that u dont approve of reprensativ democracy

  • it has actually done economic benefits for the least among the citizens and at the same time bnp has been improved.

  • Country with highest standard of living is a socialist country - Sweden - and is also capitalistic and free marketed, all in one package. USA on the other hand, is fast becoming a nation of slaves, as it once was. I'm only amazed at the number of US citizens wanting to slave on, instead of changing the system to the one that serves the nation, rather than corporatocrasy.

  • 1)high taxes is not free market economy.2) Sweden was starting to have problems in the 90s, which is why they started to lower some taxes to stop business men leaving the country and promote capistalism, other wise they knew they were going to have big problems

  • 1.a.free market has never exist its just a construct created on paper in theory and it envolves no state what so ever.b.the taxe rate doest say how free a society is. ur capable of create a company sweden and compite in the market. 2.sweden did a numourus things durring the 90s and it was all createed because of a big bubble created by some influenced rich powerful guys who purchased swedish kroner and sold them too a much lower valvue.

  • Free markets did exist in history, including in America when it was founded and before the beginning of the 20th century.

  • I belive what ur talking about is capitalism was close to one point being perfected but was rather changed somwwhat later durring the early 1900, not free market.

that argument about the taxes goes both ways, states can also by thier means infleunced the market. and the q what about 100% tax rate what happens then.. well then u would end up owning everything and nothing if now state owned the means of all production but then its not capitalism then its socialist.

  • Tax rates have some say how free a market economy or even society is, and how capable one is of creating a company and compete. Tax is a burden, discourages businesses and production, and taxes means taking money by force and distributing it to others, it is considered a state intervention (even totalitarian). There are very interesting books on the subject I could recommend you, if you like.

  • (My last two comments were in reply to hansson2000)

  • u know violette tax rate can also be good towards economics devolopment since it wont overheat itself. socialist/market/demokrats reasons like this, and what u end up is a strong state that has the power to overweight any privateintrest over any company. and it wont jepordize the democratic society, the state will then be able to do any decision without any economic intrest influenced from a private intest.

  • Have you ever seen how people in the goverments work? They are first intersted in their own private matters than population's, I am sure the same is even in Sweden, because in the Swidish government are the same human beings as the rest of the world who would care about their own families before anybody elses. Try maybe one day work in the government for work experience for a short time, and the you will see.

  • is that even an argument?

  • even if im sort of dissapointed at the queastionas a whole its really a matter of opinion. i mean nomatter who you ask and no matter how tyou analyze yourself you will always subjectivly come out and say everyone else is lazy.

*and yes i have alof ot family members working for the goverment and i know at least to a good extend how great they care for other people, and what they will offer(thier own health as for one example) for other people.

  • i would like to ad norway, denmark to that list aswell..

  • Norway, Denmark, Sweden, Holland... for americans, they dont exist. There is old Europe, and new one. There is country called Africa, and Japan, Korea and Vietnam. And america beat them all...?!? Why do we even bother? I guess thats why we dont have it our way in our own countries. I know mine doesnt. Not by far.

  • I listen more and more to what he is saying.

He uses this tricky technique, like egyptian priests (and all other religious manipulators). He understands that the earth works in a way that once every 2-3 years we have an eclipse. He does not fully understand why, but he is eager to propose solutions and meanings to masses of stupid people!

Michael you are a socialist have some guts to admit that. There are just two ways of approaching matters - control vs freedom!

    there is no other option...

  • shut up moore

  • Money should serve The People, People should not serve Money.

  • > Search YouTube: "davehines78 Me Is Mine, You Is Yours"

    > Moore is a smart rich man and Moore is making lots of money

  • i think micheal is a closet atheist using the jesus tactic lol we love u micheal keep on keepin on....

  • he is using to make people think Jesus talked like this.people who take him seriously in this country don't read the bible or in cant in other country's. true Jesus will set up a somewhat community system when he reigns on earth but moore misses the true point a govt founded on the goodness of man will and has failed. he needs to start spending money for the kids in columbine

  • Socialism by theoretical definition is democratic control of the workplace and of political institutions by the workers/citizens themselves.

It is often used as a term to describe Government-controlled industry, but this terminology is false and Moore ascribes to the original and correct definition stated above.

  • when did the definition change ? So....old school socialism is bad and YOUR NEW socialism is good ? Are you a complete moron ?

  • No, socialism has always been defined that way. What I described isn't "New" socialism, it's just the more historically correct definition. What Moore is describing is the correct definition of socialism- a form of democratic participatory economics.

Obviously you are the moron if you can't pick up a book or google the background of an ideology enough to realize that certain definitions and terms are subject to distortion and misinterpretation, especially due to cold-war propaganda by the US.

  • Your the moron for thinking Socializm is a good thing. I don't work for the lazy.

The problem with socialism is that you eventually,

run out of other peoples money. Margaret Thatcher

  • Another idiot who thinks Socialism is one huge Big-Government Welfare-State giving out free money.

It's not about using other people's money, in fact it's about you as an individual controlling the money/spending in your own community and your own wage and you own workplace and your own life through political empowerment.

Since you can't even grasp the basic definition of the ideology, I think you're the moron here. Please at least go to Wikipedia before posting such stupid shit & come back

  • hahaha.....thanks for that moronic definition of socializm.

Do you think some community organizer (Obama, haha) would distribute this money ? Or is it up to you, the individual ? Nope...its government !

I give to charity's on my own...I don't a politician to tell me how and what.

  • Once again, our definitions are clashing, and you think I'm mistakenly associating what you think is socialism with my own definition.

I don't think for one second Obama is serving the interests of the community or the working people in the US, and is simply a leader of a state which is employed by the ruling class.

Obama is not a socialist, because socialism is workers in control of the means of production; he is just a center-right politician with flowery speeches about progress.

  • ALL MONEY is other peoples money, thats how f!@#$%g Finance Works!

  • With that mentality you must be a communist.

  • @SlashFan60 so no employer would want to take on a new workers because his objectives of making money from his invested money would be watered down by the new vote?

  • i dont think jesus liked the tax collectors of his time either.....

  • well mayb the little guy shouldn't of bought a house that he couldn't afford! fuckin idiot!

  • Actually...He doesn't recomend replacing Capitalism for Socialism....Just for DEMOCRACY(taking control of our Economy).Did You watch the movie???? Please! open your mind and go to the Theather....It is worthed, trust me, it has nothing to do with party's politics!

  • I like some of Moore's ideas, but does he really know anything about Jesus? Anyone has the prove that he even existed?

What does he have to do with capitalism?

    COME ON PEOPLE !!!!!!

  • You're right in a way ... who can say what Jesus would do? ... but don't miss his point ... there is nothing moral or compassionate about playing giant ponzi schemes and gambling with other people's money. There is nothing right or moral about turning real companies which employed AMERICANS into piles of worthless paper and outsourcing all our jobs to China so they can screw up the environment with toxic waste in their mad rush to manufacture all the cheap plastic cr*p for sale at Wal-Mart.

  • Well maybe because there wasn't a stock market back 2,000 years ago. Who's to say what Jesus would do and what He wouldn't do anyway?

  • Actually, Generatrix, the first president elected under the current constitution didn't believe in "Democracy". I believe Washington was fond of saying that Democracy was nothing more than rule by the rabble. He would liked to have seen the country run not by the uneducated farmers and blacksmiths, but by those with higher education and some influence.

  • Drop bomb shells on them. Damn this guy is killing them. Moore keep doing the damn thing. Finally someone who isn't talking all about (me me me), sticking up for the people!

  • he looks like a fat angus young

  • Democracy- 51% control the other 49%=tyranny

A (constitutional) Republic- 99% of the people cannot take away the other one percents rights. "We are a Republican government. Real liberty is never found in despotism or in the extremes of democracy." -- Alexander Hamilton

What do we have in the United States?

"A constitutional republic, 'if' you can keep it (from the central bank)." -- Ben Franklin

The word 'democracy' is not even mentioned in the Declaration of Independence, Constitution.

  • generatrix999: "Democracy- 51% control the other 49%=tyranny

A (constitutional) Republic- 99% of the people cannot take away the other one percents rights..."

All the countries have "Republic" somewhere in their names are under different degree of dictatorships.

Wake up and smell the reality.

  • ... you do actually have to read into it.

  • @allgoo19:

What are rights? Who defines rights? Why do they have the authority to define rights? Why should we accept it? Are rights endowed by God, or is just man appealing to the divine and to nature (which would be a naturalsitic fallacy) to support their views? This nation is a constitutional republic, and we do have rights, but what does this have anything to do with economic policies? Furthermore, we are a democratic nation, democracy isn't mutual to republics.

  • @ogirv101

Too many questions. You'll find them in the books, Go read them. Don't be lazy and don't expect others to explain to you for free.
