lol. It looks like real grate fun, but when you all get your avatar names and become developers, you might realise it's not as grate as you thought...

you have to pay for the cost of deriving from a product (as in you have to pay for it, even if you already own the item) and an extra amount for submitting your new creation to the catalog.. like a sort of tax.. it's hard work sometimes.

Yeah, it's a stupid concept honestly. IMVU Just wants to eat up your money when you buy your name. Though best way to stay away from that would be just getting VIP. I don't know how much it is anymore since I got it when it was around 9.95$ a month. :S Still have it today. Also comes with a new name registration so you can change your name (if you want)

I used to be a developer but I disabled by account. I was wondering what all the fuss was of mistreating IMVU developers, until I found out myself.

I think IMVU advertised itself with being "the world's greatest 3D Chat" from the start without an actual research. If IMVU would be becoming any better, I suggest it to humble itself soon.

It's really not worth it now days to be a developer since they brought out the Peer Review. Now you have to wait sometimes up to months just to get your stuff passed by other users. Also you don't really get very much back unless your a mesher [create your own meshes which isn't very easy if you don't know what your doing]. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to make things [even though it costs a good bit to sell them sometimes]. For starters you should make stickers then work your way from there.

I downloaded IMVU so many times on my computer...it's so awesome because I love the clothes--there's nothing like IMVU on the internet! But then I got addicted to it and downloaded on my Grandma's computer(a Windows HP) and it totally crapped up her computer. It took almost two-hundred dollars to get it fixed. I did it again and broke another computer. So, they'll never trust me with my own computer again. :P

im on imvu. I wish I was a creator but I cant pay for my name and stuff.
