  • This is the damndest thing; a tornado is on the ground and everyone is driving around like nothing's going on. I see this alot in tornado videos. What's with people?

  • My son and I just viewed the tornado destruction that hit just three weeks or so ago in Murfreesboro and took a few pictures. We saw the damage from I-40 and followed the path of the tornado from some businesses which continued through this neighborhood of homes. The destruction was like an Atomic bomb had been dropped on the area. Homes were leveled and looked like match sticks!! ...rubble everywhere!!.. It was indeed a sad sight to behold, and my heart goes out to all these people..(Reece)

  • I live in Blackman Grove...right beside the Oaks and we had no damage throughout the neighborhood. We were blessed bc we saw the fingers going up in the clouds

  • Me and two others were traveling 99 from eagleville when we spotted this tornado. We followed it until we lost sight of it when we reached the over pass near the dairy. Unfortunately we forgot the camera, but had talked about bringing it. Watching it run parallel with us was unreal!

  • i just looked out the window to see debris flying 70 feet in the air and a eerie, roar type sound. next thing i know, im hiding in the bathroom.

  • i'm so happy my house didn't get blown off the map.i live in blackman oaks. a few people had roof damage.then it started poring down rain. :( water damage for some of them.

  • i live in blackman oaks ..many houses were damaged behind our neighborhood. x| ugh. good thing my house is still fine.

  • i live close to there

  • i was watching this on the news

    lucky its all over

  • my niece is at MTSU and cant get a hold of her, has anyone heard anything doing with the campus?

  • i live right off campus, i drove through, i didnt see any immediate damage. Maybe electricity is off, but it didnt look bad at all.

  • Yeah, I live very near campus. I'm pretty sure they are fine. Most damage was a couple miles east & northeast of MTSU.

Cell phones were down for a bit during the storm, but they should be working again.

  • i'm near the college...no damage there that I know of...it was north of the state farm building and south of the va center mostly and then SW of there

  • Sorry...I mean west & northwest, I believe.

  • Dan Satterfield of WHNT is getting wood watching this

  • Too bad the quality is poor on this vid.

I was awakened by tornado sirens in the Stewarts Ferry area of Nashville.

News vidso is still on all local channels. Murfreesboro looks like a disaster srea.

    Good luck.

  • Yeah, my cell phone was all i had.. there is a better video, just search murfreesboro under most recent uploads. still waiting to hear about casualties or not.

  • The M'boro paper reports 2 dead.

  • wow, that sucks. channel 4 was still saying they didnt know.

  • Wife called from in town, roads blocked can't get home. Good community. We'll clean it up and be ready for some MTSU football 2 win season in no time!

  • Yeah, loads of traffic problems. And they are still waiting to hear about the casualties.. hoping there were none.

  • My prayers are with those affected. Appears there were casualties and quite a few leveled communities. :(

  • Yes, they say there are casualties in the Blackman community. Its starting to calm down, but there are still some serious flooding in the streets and traffic problems as well.

  • crazyness
