So far the only Sony product that died for me is my PS2, which I got on the year of release. Thx to warranty, I RMA it and one week later got a free replacement.

As for MS, so far I RMA my 360s, once they refused to fix it/replace it and the original xbox, they were taking me like 3 months for a reply. But that is MS Cyprus we are talking about...

As an IT guy, I don't buy from one company only. I got a Zune frm MS and find it much better than my iPod or any Sony MP3 player I tried.

I bought it frm PSN 2 weeks ago, cz of a trip abroad, didn't have the chance to spend much time on it. Those 1-2 hours, were entertaining. It's classic worms, bring all those 90s memories back...worms was and is one of the funniest and most entertaining games IMO...you kill/get killed and you can't stop laughing! Genius! As for classic, they are classic worms art style but sharp and crispy on 1080p..

Can't wait for Worms Armageddon on XBL this fall...

Plus Ps3 has a 0.02% failure rate, and ive had my ps2 for over 9 years and it still works and my PSP still had one hiccup but thats becuase i dropped it.

I think PS3 failure rate is around 1%. The only way to kill it for sure, it's by playing CoD 5...the dev. messed up with the blu-ray disc, making the disc spin hell fast and thus the blu-ray drive may go crazy with it...as for overheating, I may even leave my PS3 on for a week and no worries...even during summer, where the temps may go up to 40-43..

PS2 had a similar dvd drive problem at lunch. But it was fixed in no time. I was one of the unlucky ones...

Actually there is something I always miss when I play PS3, voice messages! I always use it on XBL, easiest way to send a message on a console in my opinion. But on the other hand PS3's browser is a nice tool to have. Especially when my laptop is out of battery.

As for that free vs pay, well free is always welcome =P, I don't mind paying 5 euros per month, but the fact that I can't cancel my subscription without calling MS pissed me off a few times.

True...we dont have voice messages, we have voice chat but we have the ability to attach things to messages aswells, such as voice mails, videos and photos. and the fact for people who like their K/D ratio on COD people on ps3 can make a new account easily to up their K/D

I only play CoD on PC so I can't comment about that K/D. Creating new accounts it's easy and the good thing, unlike XBL I could put Cyprus as my country, while on XBL I had to put a fake address...still for PS Store I put a US address, but that is different thing. Attachments are useful and if I'm right XBL doesn't have it.

I have both. I have to say I like my PS3 better. 360 used to be the console of choice for me, but now with the all those PS3 exclusives out there and upcoming, I prefer PS3. MGS4 is simple one of the best games I played. 360 is software Backwards compatible, not so many titles are actually working as they should. Since original x-box games are discontinued I think there is no point for them, expect play Halo 1/2, Fable, Kotor 1/2 before you get their next gen sequels.

Either one of them, you can't go wrong. Since multiplatforms now have the same performance on both consoles, expect sometimes they are a little bit better on one.

Check out what exclusives they got already out and coming soon, before you buy anything. What's coming not only this year, but next 2 years. IMO PS3 upcoming exclusives are more and more promising. 360 is more of the same but still Natal tech looks good.

A btw, PSN is as good as(or about to) live now and it's free to play.

Yes I have a blu-ray collection. The image quality on my Samsung LED HD Tv is amazing.

If you find a 60gb model or an 80gb model you will have backwards compatibility.

And as for the price, yea 360 is cheaper, but ask yourself why! PS3 has blu-ray all player, wi-fi, card reader(not sure for new models). Just the blu-ray makes it a better value for money than 360 is. As for the new SKUs, yes PS3 SKUs is a mess. Just get any one of them, cheapest you can and you will be all fine. Software updates are those who counts and are free! 360 also has a mess in SKUs(actually only Wii has a stable package), with those arcane, classic, elite, halo edition adn etc...

the game worms was first release this way, and every one of their games after the first one, looked that way slight detalis were added and graphics were slightly better looking, but we're still looking at 2D graphics in a 2D world... this game has no need for 3D graphics in my opinion, the 3rd dimension would kill the game i think... but up to you to judge for yourself...
