  • @lpmm215 its a crosman 2240 modded to the max in PCP form, (precharged pneumatic), and yes this is 100% true. even with just a 12 gram co2 system instead of PCP can generate anywhere from 700fps-950fps, when the 2240 is modded. And haven't you even saw the factory air rifles such as the Ruger break-open shooting at 1200fps, or the big bore airguns such as the "Career Dragon Slayer" shooting a .50cal at 900fps if I remember correctly. The .30cal semi/full auto "calseman" was used in WWII.

  • @Nwest82 I could be wrong about the Calseman being used in WWII, I'm pretty sure that it was invented during that time by a bike-shop owner. it can deliver power equal to a 32acp. one of the first air rifles made was during the civil war era, were front-loading flinters were the norm, I can't remember its name, but it was powerful enough to battle with, quite enough to snipe without giving away the soldiers position, and repeat shots was a major bonus to the soldiers fighting with front-loaders.

  • nice gun i have seen many custumising it than its cooler

  • @repex304 Nice gun to work on. This is great for hunting as well as plinking, more power the better :-)

  • can a human dai of that?!??!

  • @repex304 A bb gun can kill. What do you think?

  • Is that .22 Caliber? If so that gun must make about 45 fpe at the muzzle!

What did you use to secure the valve and how much pressure does it run?

  • @hathigmonorow Yes .22 but in this video I am using light 9.9gr gamo pellets. gun running at 3600 PSI Gun was found unsafe for everyday use & dissembled. Gun was built back into a co2 pistol.

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX unsafe for everyday use? lol you mean it was an unstable build or ?

  • Looks like a highly modified crosman 2240

  • @jubster16 Yea at the time I just was not happy unless I could really make her cook.

  • @imapimpyournot Yes they do fry all over with high power guns. They work good in very low power guns like co2 pistols. I do the same thing :-) I just get the lightest pellet I can just to see how fast they fly. The sonic crack is fun to. But yes lead is the way to go you get a lot more foot pounds with lead.I got some killer pellets with a red plastic skirt then penetrate all most anything. They are lead free but still kinda heavy at 16.9gr with this pistol it shoots right thew 2 propane bottles.

  • @imapimpyournot Raptors are no good that is what I am using in this video. The Raptors I am using are 9.9gr that is like a very heavy .177 pellet & that gives me 35.08 foot pounds . A .177 Raptor is 5.5gr at 1313 FPS that would be 21.06 foot pounds. Heavy pellets are always better. This pistol in the video will send a 30gr pellet at well over 700 FPS that is similar power to a .22 short fired out of a pistol.

  • @imapimpyournot Yes it sure did! Sounds kinda like a .22 going off.

  • Nice. I am truely envious. Even with a 24" barrel, modified valve, enlarged transfer port, I am only getting <700fps with My 1022...

  • @Airsoftpsyco1423 Oops ^ I meant 1322... My bad.

  • @Airsoftpsyco1423 Thats still good. Man if it was a 1077 doing 700 that would be very nice.

  • God Damn son. I thought after you got a prod you left the 2240 in the safe, boy was I wrong. Please do the AG community a favor and post a build up on the Green Crosman forum, again thats incredible. Btw, could you pm me the hipac email addy?

  • @TheJohnnyairgun This pistol I felt was unsafe so I converted back to co2. It was charged at 3600 PSI Got 8-10 powerful shot. If you dropped the pistol it may explode. I got the Marauder pistol to try & do the same thing but the gun should be a lot more safe.

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX why didnt you just charge at like 2800 psi and just shoot lower velocity plus you could have sold it probobly for about $200

  • @NRXTM It sold for $375.00

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX damn

  • MUST BE ONE OF THE BEST AIR PISTOL ON YOUTUBE GREAT GUN MAN

  • @TheGetintoit Thanks :-)

  • is it stronger than the marauder pistol

  • @fpsEnrique Yes! However I am working on changing that. The only thing with the Marauder is after about 850 FPS the built in suppressor does nothing for the sound.

  • @fpsEnrique The most I got out of my Marauder pistol is 1000 FPS with a Gamo Raptor. That is only with a stronger hammer spring & poly tube transfer port.

  • were did you get that?

  • @hunter95959 Where the hell have you been???? I built the pistol out of a 2240 :-)

  • dang and i just want to add a stock and scope to my 1377:D

  • @TheDodgeChallenger LOL!! Once you start its all over. You will see once you got the stock & scope it wont end there. I would suggest you order a steel breach kit for sure to keep that scope rock solid. Tell me how much that stock is going for I have a brand new one in the box.

  • Hmm without any modifications it says that it shoots .22 rounds at around 430 fps right? You shot the normal .177 how fast would it go if you'd be shooting the .177 rounds fresh out of the box no modifications?

  • @SoCoMzXeLiTe I would say a stock 2240 with a .177 barrel would probably push the pellet about 500 FPS

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX how u make pcp?

  • @themighty1899 You will need a gas tube rated for 6000 PSI or more & boss bulk fill valve. This can be extremely dangerous as the gun could blow up sending shrapnel into your body. The valve could shoot out from the rear hitting you in the face like a shotgun slug.

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX This is the best looking pistol I ve seen so far. I like the classy but powerful looking brass look.

I guess it is also the most powerful out of all air pistols?

Im a newbie at airguns and planning my first buy. I am tinking of the crosman 1377, ""pump action"" or crosman 2240.

Which one would you recommend to a newbie in your professional opinion?

  • @boowonder888 The 2240 is easier to work on & more powerful out of the box.

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX Im not really a fan of co2 cartridges, because they run out. I never run out of pumping power. I also think the 1377 looks better, the 2240 looks like an old Luger, although not ugly, I prefer classical lines.

The power of 1377 is more than most pistols on the market, even the more expensive ones. Is that right? I will be an indoor shooter for lack of a garden....

Can you put a scope on the 1377?

PS: Your pistol reminds me of something Buffalo Bill would shoot with!

  • @boowonder888 I understand the co2s waisting money. Thats why I now shoot PCP its like a pumper repeater with a external pump. I have always enjoyed the 1377s yes they have great power out of the box at 550 FPS with 7.9gr lead pellets. I may pick up a Browning 800 mag in .22 one cock gets you 550 FPS with a 14.3 gr pellet not bad huh? Thats funny about Buffalo Bill :-) Maybe thats what I was going for & did not realize it. I do love my Cowboy guns.

  • @boowonder888 Yes you can scope a 1377 with $10 barrel clamps but it wont stay true unless you just pay $20 more & get a steel breach kit witch is grooved for a dovetail scope.

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX that is cool with only one pump so much power, Im gonna go look for it right now.

I will start with the 1377 and maybe later add to my collection, who knows.

  • wow very ilegal in uk lol

    amazing!!!!!!

  • you don't need to start the project over for a light trigger pull, you just need the drop sear trigger pack from Pacific Pellet Guns

  • @dt45acp I was looking to do that but that will be someones else's project gun sold for $300.00 as is ;-)

  • that is an awesome velocity, a .22 rimfire pistol averages 900 fps. must have over 2,000 P.S.I or maxed out.

  • @1942nuclear 3000 PSI You need ear plugs to shoot it.

  • @1942nuclear My Mrod pistol almost got to 1000 FPS just with poly tube transfer port & stronger hammer spring :-) Wonder what it will do when I decide to mod the valve :-)

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX will be good to see the next video, be shure to set your share video settings in your account, some have uploaded videos with share option turned off, maybe not even knowing the option was turned off.

  • Holy shit!!! that is awesome. :)

  • @kriegmeister3000 I am thinking about boring out the valve in my Prod.

  • pretty wild, what weight and brand of pellet are you using ?

  • @dt45acp 9.9gr Raptors The trigger pull is way to hard with this set up so I have tuned it down a bit. That & its very loud.

  • 400 fps is great, 500 fps is smoking, 600 fps is blazing, 700 fps is scorching. So where to categorize this ridiculous jaw dropping too insane for words velocity?! I'm curious what the second shot fires at...

  • @JJCarbon I should have made a video. But it will fire about 7 shots at full power before dropping.

  • @cogtooth I believe 700 with a light pellet.

  • how???

  • @TheAirhunter69 It can be done.

  • @cogtooth A friend gave me some Gamo raptors in .22 Just playing around but 9.9Gr pellet is still heavier then a standard .177 pellet. I turned up my power adjuster with a very strong hammer spring. I can get 8-10 powerful shot's Then drops to 600 FPS I charge the gun with 25 pumps & good to go for another 10 shots.

  • Uh.. how?

  • @phgHunter Yes I will be needing that TKO 6.5" Stage V Muzzle Brake now :-)

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX lol. Is that HPA or co2?

  • @phgHunter 3000 PSI HPA

  • @Xxoo0o0o0ooxX My lord.

  • @phgHunter Was my goal to break the sound barrier with a .22 pellet pistol. The only problem is the trigger pull is way to hard. So it will be tuned down a bit. With co2 my trigger pull was 2lb's I would like to start this project over using a Marauder Pistol to work with.

  • lol my ears are ringing
