  • Nice review

  • For the page indicator can you remove the number on it? Like if you are on page 1 it shows 1 on the white circle? Can you make it so its just a white circle?

  • thanks buddy!

  • Off-topic, but I LOVE your background image. Go Pats!

  • is the battery ok?

  • How do u have so fast internet

  • awesome...

  • @ bwonedotcom i heard the screen on the tmobile version is not as crispy as the international version?

  • My Brother has the new Nexus S 4G with Verizon, Which is also an LTE phone and has Android 4.0 and he gets even slower speeds then my roommate. Who has an LG Revolution. I am with T-Mobile and am using an MyTouch 4G and I average in the same locations between 5-8MB down / 1-2MB up and peak up to 12MB down / 2-3MB up. And my MyTouch 4G only supports T-Mobile's HSPA+14 speeds. If I had this phone he is reviewing I could get up to 42MB down. Since T-Mobile's HSPA+42 network is live here in Atlanta

  • T-Mobile's data speeds are for sure on-par with Verizon's LTE data speeds and in some markets T-Mobile's HSPA+42 network is faster then Verizon's LTE. Here in Metro Atlanta my Roommate and my brother both use Verizon and both have LTE phones. My roommate gets between 7-8MB down and 3-5MB up on average at our house. He peaks between 15-20MB when there isn't alot of traffic on the network. Which is between the hrs of 11pm - 8am.

  • i get mine tomorrow : ) , its my first android phone , i am sooo excited to swich from blackberry .

  • @TheBOOGIE2010 hahah mee tooo! How do u like it ?

  • Do the galaxy s2 have a lock ...

  • good review....but ughhhh patriots? :)

  • awesome review!

  • SGS II or Amaze 4g like for SGS II dislike for Amaze 4g

  • Love my S2. I'm in Maryland, my benchmark just came in at 3651. Speedtest was 12.14 download and 16.42 upload. This phone is super fast, with NO lag what-so-ever! I also added a Kingston 16g, class 4 sd card.

  • hows t-mobile in your area

  • its a fake Galaxy S2 because its not using Samsung processor

  • @nosranro It's not a fake Galaxy S ii. Since T-mobile's 4g network is not compatible with the 1.2-GHz dual-core Samsung Exynos processor, Samsung had to use a 1.5-GHz Snapdragon processor for the T-mobile version.

  • @darksilver129 ridiculous, both exynos and snapdragon are Cortex-A9 processors designed by ARM, and also the network things are not controlled by the pocessor. and more T-mobile's 4G network is similar as ATT's.

  • The tmobile version has a snapdragon processor because the exynos is not compatible with tmobiles 42mbps hspa+ network look it up broseph

  • @nosranro and just to be clear the processor doesn't affect anything to do with a networks signal that's the wireless radio in your phone but it does affect data speed, just added that to let you know that I understood where you were coming from with your comment

  • Also if you root it and instal a custom rom and kernel you can easily get 16+ hours of battery with moderate use.

  • one you root this phone and install a custom rom its the best thing ever

  • How do you get fast data speeds i get like arou d 6 or 7 megs but i cant get 11 or higher and i have the galaxy s2

  • cant wait might either get sensation or this for christmas!

  • @AustinNYC01 Same here :D

  • is your battery life good?

  • Is this a swipe or touch to answer? and can the answering mode be changed?

  • Awesome and very helpful review. Maybe you can help me with the Vlingo app. I cannot figure out how the memo function works?. After you record and your speech is converted to text you have the option to save it. Where is it saved? How do you retrive your message memo's? I can't seem to find the saved memo anywhere in the phone?

  • hey bwonedotcom do the samsung galaxy s2 for t-mobile have a notification light??

  • @MrPrep91 No they don't. You must press the power button to see if you have any messages.

  • if these phones fall flat on their screen im guessing they get wrecked, right ?

  • @zamrock20 Actually this one doesn't. The iPhone gets totally runined during the drop test. Type in Drop test for SGS2 vs iPhone, a video will be available showing different heights and levels of drops. This one held up well!

  • this is not a galaxy s2

  • @maxmossman100 Yes it is apart of the Galaxy S II family

  • @bwonedotcom im getting this next week :)

  • @maxmossman100 not gonna call you an idiot or a dumb ass for saying its not a galaxy s2 but yes that is the t-mobile version of the samsung galaxy s2, USA like to have variations on the looks of their devices but that is definitely a samsung galaxy s 2

  • @maxmossman100 I think that this guy has the largest hands on the interweb, that`s why !!!

  • @maxmossman100 Then why does it say Galaxy S II on the back? Dipshit

  • @maxmossman100

Yeah it looks different from original SGII because it is released after the original so the design was copied from AT&T's Skyrocket. According to wikipedia they codenamed this one SGII "Hercules".

  • HOLY FUCK NFC LOKED NICE!! O.O!!! I want it!!! Im gona sell my lg g2x

  • can anyone tell me if this phone will be LTE

  • @jigga21ish Not for T-Mobile

  • @jigga21ish It operates on their HSDPA+ which is dual cell HSPA. Doubles the theoretical max of HSPA from 21 mbps to 42 mbps. Very fast, but not LTE.

  • @jigga21ish Yes it will check out samsung galaxy hd lte

  • @jigga21ish GSII Skyrocket on AT&T is LTE

  • i think you can download google video chat in the android market.

  • What did you do with the card at 4:40???

i mean it was the NFC right?

does it work with all the credit cards???

  • This phone is awesome I just got on e a few hours ago.

  • NOT ACTIVE? i get 3 if i'm lucky with my G2

  • Tom brady.....trash compared to Eli or Payton

  • I love to see a review by someone who is obviously familiar w/the phone & keeps it moving. This is also the only review that demonstrates NFC. I'm more concerned w/ things like it not having a video editor and Google Talk not being enabled yet, than benchmarks. He seems to fit it all in, though. This is the best review I've seen.

  • Be careful with this phone...i brought one returned it because the screen had grey lines in it and it was very noticeable on low brightness...or dark scenes of movies.

  • This is the slowest galaxy s2 out of the three

  • @MrSoldier44

    looks fine to me.

  • Why was the video editor taken out?

  • Gtalk doesn't support gingerbread 2.3.5 but it will once Google releases an update

  • one more thing... can you use the front-facing camera in the google+ app? and why, exactly, doesn't gtalk work with the front-facing camera????

    that sucks...

  • does the phone offer a HDMI port to connect to tv's and what not?

  • i watched the vid in it's entirety, and discovered there is an accessory you can buy...

  • Any wifi calling option?
